Kudos to your mom.

Hmmm, dunno bout that preview track, dunno, dunno ... I was on board until WOW, I think, and this is not making me want to jump back on the train ... yet.

I’m curious about the album having 20 tracks... seems to suggest there will be lots of short interludes etc? I’m not really a fan of that. I was hopeful it would be a return to their more electronic sound but the teaser track isn’t really suggesting that’s the case lol. That being said I think I’m one of the few that really enjoyed dimensional people so I know I’ll enjoy this too.

I’m digging this track, gives me Yippie vibes ala niun niggung

I'm listening to the preview track again and i really like it. if the whole album is slow-burning minimal grooves like this i'd be into it. also seems like a good sign that dodo nkishi is involved again, I love all the albums they've made with him.

This sounds promising. Really hope this one doesn't have extensive vocals. They are such brilliant producers, among the best that came of the 90s, but they have this awful tendency to ruin their tracks with bad vocals (and in some cases, entire albums). I don't understand why.

I'm getting vibes from this track from a few years ago, nice to hear more of this direction.

Nice track, not sure I'd heard it before. And yes the new track is promising. I just revisited WOW, which is pretty good, not sure I have it in me to revisit Dimensional People. But probably will before AII is released.

More than anything I miss their warmer, lo-fi sounding stuff from the mid 90s (iaora, glam, instrumentals). Yeah it was a long time ago, but that material is still my favourite. That and the hyper-detailed Autoditacker/Niun Niggung... there is SO much going on in those records. They nearly lost me at idiology with those cringey vocals but I still pay attention whenever something new comes out and have a ton of respect for them as artists and producers.

Also this came out around their "21 again" era a few years ago and it puts a huge grin on my face! I've watched it a handful of times and I love experiments like this. Sorry if jazzband.

Yeah, Autoditacker was my sweet spot, I think. I saw them play a gazillion times until then, and they were incredible live. Probably still are, but I sort of gradually lost interest. But let's see what is up with this new one ...

Autoditacker is the absolute shit obviously (Sui Shop!!!).

Idiology is stuffed full of magical moments as well.

For example 1:37 below = goosebumps.

I love you Jan and Andi.

Idiology is so good, that's what got me into them. it's so lush and packed with detail. And yeah basically every album they released in the 90s is a timeless classic (including Glam and Instrumentals which seem underrated). Radical Connector and Varcharz are very good too. I feel like their albums from Parastrophics onward have been a little less interesting, but there's still some excellent tracks on them.

oooh that's bold, respect.

personally i haven't gotten into glam despite many tries.

I wasn't into it until one day I put it on a weekend afternoon and fell asleep listening to it. Was kind of magical. Still don't "get" it from an enjoyment listening perspective but if it was able to make me sleep in the middle of the day it holds a special spot for me.
