Ya know, on first listen, many parts of this album are reminding me of Dsico (aka Dsico That No-Talent Hack). But better. He hacks up pop songs. Not that I think this is a pop album...though it does have many pop elements which makes me .

 

This is quite enjoyable.

 

what are the pop elements, do you think?

No need to drag Lady Caca into this, this type of pop vocals has been around much longer than she. And it's fine if done right. Like this. This is the perfect use of pop vocals, IMO.

listen to sunset everett then listen to cheryl cole.... for eg.

actually this is really glitchy. many parts of it sound like some glitch machine is mining hours worth of audio. some of it has no real melodic cohesion. in other words, it is random short samples playing rhythmically.

 

i think this has been done before, but not as many are aware. it's like slowed down breakcore - check this track:
