We're now at round 2 of the tournament.

There were a couple upsets in round one. Mossy stones crushed Yes (a Twitter post made by Boards of Canada). The great singularity managed to squeeze past Chernobyl. Terraforming planets won a close battle with machines that are smarter than man. In a big upset, Alternative universes beat IDM, a number 6 seed. The biggest upset was Endless airport parking lots at night in an unfamiliar city destroying Not releasing an album for 5+ years, a number 3 seed. Also, huge machinery beat moss in the final upset. Fans of moss may be mobilizing behind mossy stones.

There also 3 very close matches. Windows 95 beat Lego by 1 vote. www.gaarg.tumblr.com beat Freaky caterpillars by 1 vote. The great singularity beat Chernobyl by 1 vote as well.

Let round 2 begin!

The brackets can be found here: http://www.bracketmaker.com/tlist.cfm?tid=424823

This round will end on March 30th, around 10-11 pm Vancouver time.

Why are they grouped this way

I'd rather choose both options in one bracket over both of the options in some brackets

I grouped them in round one so that the top seeds would go up against the lower seeds, to increase the chances of the most popular ones lasting until the end. This is how brackets are usually done. I think I might have made some mistakes around the middle seeds, but it was essentially correct.

Maybe your tastes are just different than the results from the qualifying rounds.

Don't listen to the dissenters Root5; you're doing great!

Thanks mate. I'm a bit sad that "Totally borking up a tournament on the internet" didn't qualify though. I voted for it.

What Rust ? Rust is ugly, old, invasive and ORANGE. How could a song about Rust sound cool ???? GO SPACE STATIONS !!!

Indeed. Rust is simple, not IDM and boring. GO SPACE STATIONS

At this point I'm just voting for things I could actually write songs about, but seems like voters are doing the opposite.
