Local public radio (KBOO Portland) played this track the other week and the production on it is an absolute bop. I listened through this album because of it, and this track is a definite highlight to me, but AGF does a lot of cool stuff. I'd also like to say, holy shit is this one of the most German things I've ever heard lmao.

Some more information on a brilliant woman:

lovely stuff. weird in ways much electronic/experimental doesn't quite achieve.

i've been listening to bits of Suzanne Ciani's channel since CDM posted this last week: https://cdm.link/2023/12/suzanne-ciani-tube/

i know she's a great source of reference but just not someone whose work i've much explored. some really timeless stuff in there. Neverland is also really nice from what i've listened of it so far. but she/whoever is uploading stuff regularly right now it seems.

happened across this randomly and really liked it: Marking Time by Pauline Anna Strom

I looked her up, interesting story: she made electronica in the 80s, had to sell her equipment because skint so stopped making music, got into Reiki instead. Eventually in 2017 someone re-releases her old stuff from from 30 years previously. It is well received, so she gets some new equipment and makes a new album at the age of 74. The album in announced in November 2020 and a month later she dies. The album, released posthumously contains the above track. Oh, and she was blind from birth.

Lately, I have been a bit obsessed with the works of Eliane Radigue, getting lost in those long drones.
There is a very specific quality that I can't put into words, and I can rarely find elsewhere.
Can anyone recommend more things that sound like this?
