WATMM, I have done it. Now I have Konigsforst on 2LP. Oktember, Pop & Zauberberg, here I come. Already have the s/t, and I *really* wish "Oktav" was part of one of the albums...could be my favorite Gas track.

Also, picked these up:

Autechre - Incunabula (black vinyl, not silver!)

Autechre - Envane (w/ Goz/Latent Quarter)

Autechre - Anvil Vapre (w/ Second Scout/Scepe)

Effectively bringing my AE wantlist down to:

Anti 12"

SpltRmx 12"

Gescom - Gescom EP

Gescom - The Sounds Of Machines Our Parents Used

Gescom - Key Nell

Gescom - This

Ad Vanz vs Gescom / Foehn - Split Series #2

So if anyone here wants to sell me any of those, especially within the domestic US, I'd appreciate it.

Haha, I have that same exact one with the syringe on the cover! And high5 for the Environments LPs - have you got the one with "Tintinnabulation" yet? That's my fave.

haha, yeah.. it's as if it's there to say "our sound is so pure you can inject it into your veins".

the environmental lp's were a lucky find in the $3 dollar bin on record store day, i had remembered you mentioning them a while back. only have the two so far but they are excellent.

the testimonials on the back are pretty entertaining as well:

"room seemed brighter" ..lol

fuck, digging in bargain bins in the UK is such an unfair advantage.

oscillik gets Mantronix, I would get Oak Ridge Boys

from a charity shop too (kind of a really lame version of what you 'mericans call a goodwill store).

i saw it and was like:

<.<

*yoink*

You should get out more, xxx - I go thrifting all the time and find loads of cool stuff. Then again, I'm well into stuff like Sinatra and symphonic stuff, which regularly crops up in thrift stores here...though I did get my first copy of Cybotron's "Clear" in a Goodwill...

The US has plenty to offer in this realm. I found 4 tangerine dream records (Sorcerer, Exit, Thief, and Rubycon) in a thrift store here, a city with little to no electronic scene, for a dollar each. Just takes some digging.

I will say that it is easier in cities that have some history in the music you are looking for. Found quite a bit when I lived in Detroit.
