i'm happy ygritte died so i don't have to listen to her retarded speech impediment anymore. now we just need to wait for sam and incest girl to kick the bucket and the show will become 10000x better.

okay finale, one big scene and a line were missing from the tryrion stuff :( why did they change that, it was perfect

 

best part of the episode was stannis

A lot of stuff happened in this last episode. It happened a bit too fast for my taste. Also, someone on twitch spoiled the tryion plot line for this finale episode like a week ago. It wasn't as surprising as it would have been which is disappointing. But I felt like a lot of stuff was shoved down our throats without any kind of resolution really. The show isn't as fun when the bad people die. I also think arya was a little ungrateful towards the hound.

so who's going to save tyrion ? jimmy? the spaniard lady? the pornstar? with all the unpredictable stuff happening i really don't see him departing for now..

called it (kinda).

lovely finale, lots of satisfying stuff happened. loved the breanne vs hound fight, started kinda boring but when it got into krav maga it got really exciting. loved that faint ambient score when they where under the tree.

SPOILERS

 

 

Yeah, I was fully expecting LS to turn-up in the very last scene. After Arya sailed away and the screen turned black, I was even expecting one more scene, like a postpre-credits thing, or her voice, or something. But nah, guess it'll be the series opener.

 

So yeah, is Tywin really dead? Only got shot in the gut and the shoulder. He'll be back. Maybe he'll get a deathbed scene.

 

And The Hound. Also, not definitively dead at this point. Probably. Most likely.

 

All-in-all though, it was a great episode. Made up for what I think has been a difficult series. The scope of characters and storylines has been well handled but it's kind of lost it's allure a little bit. The merry-go-round seemed obvious. Daenarys doing fuck-all. Arya and the Hound just walking around again (totally makes sense for him to die, he's ran out of places to go). Even Jon Snow spent a whole series waiting at the wall again.

 

Oh, and the magic tree kids. lol. The skeleton attack I thought was actually pretty badly directed. Clearly, the CGI was a bit rubbish but we'll forgive that. But I swear there was no clear direction for the epileptic kid's death. One minute he's standing there, the next he's getting stabbed in the gut. And then the next he's standing up again and being knocked to the ground. What?

 

Anyway, so Bran is going to be controlling that rogue dragon, right?

Man, I kinda teared up when the guys defending the gate from the giant died, holy balls that was a good scene with all of them reciting their vows and drawing the swords. I was crushed when he was like 'and now their watch has ended'
