Do you have some editing pro tip, eassae? I really like the colours in your pictures. Looks obviously stylized but in a mature/subtle way

Nobody's ever asked me that before, so I'm not sure what to say. I think I approach retouching from a painters perspective, which is what I spent a lot of time doing in my formative years, including a lot of time spent on the classical, landscape, figure, still life, etc… I guess I always start with a good white balance, then enhance the dominant colors. I use various programs, Lightroom, DxO, Afinity Photo. In Lightroom I usually bump the saturation, and then reduce the Vibrance, this makes dominant colors more saturated, and less dominant colors less saturated. Then I get into the HSL sliders to enhance certain colors further. I always try to straighten out my lines, especially with architecture. I usually do a fair amount of spot exposure adjustment to get the light and contrast to draw the eye to the dominant elements in a photo. I haven't got too into the extreme split toning effects, and prefer to keep a somewhat natural appearance, but I've also rarely been a person that's happy with a photo straight out of the camera.

Maybe I can come up with a better answer after considering it some more. Like I said I've never thought about explaining retouching before. Photography has been a long time hobby for me, and has been one of those things that I developed by years of work but not a lot of pressure to always think about and improve.

Edit: Thank you.

This is from 2017, from here I went on to Argentina, then drove down further into Patagonia. I've always loved the desert, so visiting the Atacama was definitely a dream come true.

A few additional shots of buildings on the university of Western Australia campus. Not as good as the flora pics, but I like the architecture and colouring.
