damn, Japan gets absolutely the coolest limited edition consoles, short bastards.

Not to pull the political correctness card, but if you went there you'd be surprised at the build of the younger generation.

Anyway, I'm playing some maps by Sergeant Mark IV thru Brutal Doom v19 by the same developer, which was just released last week. Sgt has some serious talent as a WAD developer. Even after two decades since the original game's release, I'm gonna keep making them damn demons say "Paul" with mah shotty.

I did download The Stanley Parable as well but have not gotten around to playing it yet. Anyone who's played it recommend it at all?

Finished Arkham Asylum earlier this week, and despite everyone hating on it for having a couple bugs (which have been patched), it was a pretty damn good dame... The story was pretty great, I liked it more than Asylum but I'm not sure about City. The combat is challenging and fun, I feel like they ramped up the challenge just a bit from how it was in City. It's not a perfect game but it still deserves more credit than a lot of people are giving it.

jeez Nintendo suspended Swapnote indefinitely because apparently minors were exchanging nude pictures. Thanks for ruining it kids! Lol

Wow, this could have been an even bigger PR nightmare than I thought, thankfully Nintendo detected this before the media got wind. Can't imagine the impact on 3DS sales it could've had, and right before the holiday season:

- two men have been arrested

- they were alledgedly performing "improper acts" in hotel rooms with a 12 year-old girl

- this happened multiple times

- the men are aged 49 and 36

- this was facilitated through the 3DS

- child pornography charges have also been filed against another man, 44

- he allegedly had an 11 and 12 year old girls send him nude pictures through Swapnote

- other men have been charged with statutory rape and indecency through compulsion

Very hard for me to play games right now. I'm still playing Ni No Kuni working on 52 hours and doing side missions.

I bought these games and haven't played them yet:

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix

Call of Duty: Ghost (Only multiplayer on midnight release)

Super Meat Boy

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag

Deus Ex

I'm still trying to complete Tokyo Jungle

just beat castlevania: LOS. i really enjoyed the story and i'm a sucker for arpg's, and i never got too involved in the old castlevania games so i don't have any super nostaliga nerd bias about the reinvention going on here. gameplay wasn't as good as the story ended up being, but i still had a good time with it.

bought guacamelee last night, seems like a great time so far.

I actually loved Arkham Asylum. I played it a bit when it first came out and thought it was boring and hard (I hate stealth games). Then I picked it back up again last year and really had a great time with it. Not sure what made the difference, but I am glad I tried it out again. After I beat it, I immediately started on Arkham City, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to Asylum. There's just way too much to do in City, so easy to get sidetracked (and lost). I quit on it. Maybe I'll come back to it some time in the next year and love it.

I've only played City so far and I absolutely loved it. I get how lots of sidequests can be a bit overwhelming, I first experienced this sensation in Fallout 3, but once I got used to it I started seeing it as a great part of the game.

Nice, I just got Asylum in the last humble bundle, haven't played it yet. When I have time I'll take a bite.

I'm still hooked on dolphin roms atm. Smash Bros melee and brawl both run really well.

up to the last main mission on gta5. my attention is starting to wander to other games, mostly because i don't really want to end the storyline. has been great. can't see myself doing all the other side missions after i end the main mission (what typically happens with me with open world games - fallout 3 was the same despite there being a ton of the world i hadn't explored yet).

anybody played the new deus ex: human revolution update? i absolutely loved the shit out of the game on the first playthrough, wondering if it's worth playing it through again.

shame watch dogs has been delayed. looks amazing. mostly because it looks like deus ex: hr + gta, admittedly... ;)

edit: any wii u recommendations beyond sports club? probably should use the bloody thing more.

Not sure what you're into, but New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Luigi U are the best games on it right now, in my opinion. Darksiders II is good if you haven't played it on another system, and the Wonderful 101 is great as well.

There really aren't a ton of Wii U games that can be recommended because, well, there aren't many that exist at the moment. I hear the Wii U version of Rayman Legends is the best version. Super Mario 3D World comes out on Nov. 22. I am so looking forward to it.

A wolf among us episode 1. I don't know what urged me to pick this up, I guess my love for the walking dead game, anyway, didn't expect much. I think this is better. Buggy as fuck but for me it's a 9/10. More an inetractive cartoon than a game per se, but what's there is more interesting than the stuff you're doing in the walking dead, film noir point & click stuff. It looks amazing, technically unimpressive, but the art style is wonderfull. Yeah, lovin it. If you enjoyed the walking dead you should at least give the first episode a shot.
