We get a ton of snow in my area and with a car there was some times I couldn't exit my street or community. Also a truck will make camping easier. Hail damage was $9500. Damage to the gfs car was $12000, thankfully it's a work car so no deductible. I ended up going with a chevy, silverado 1500 LTZ. I need to go to a writers' event or something and get some ideas off people on how to make it easier cos this is just idiotic. Try doing that but with 150,000+ words and several times in a row. Tip: I found it easier to transfer the draft onto a digital device--kindle, tablet, whatev--and proofread on that, doing edits / corrections on the computer as I go. Stops it being such a ballache.
