This EP is a meaner, more abrasive animal than the debut. But there's still some experimentation with rhythm, sound design and ambience that I think could be appreciated by some listeners who aren't necessarily into noise music. It's pretty noisy though. https://cthulhudetonator.bandcamp.com/album/sucking-the-blood-of-celestial-bodies

Never see much mention of Sage round these parts which surprises me as would think lots of people here would enjoy him, On of my Fav rappers anyway and well pleased to see he has a new album out (although think I have definitely being listening to much grime recently as rapping in an American accent now sounds slightly odd to me!!) https://strangefamousrecords.bandcamp.com/album/copper-gone

Syrian artist Omar Souleyman (now residing in Turkey), first brought to wider acclaim via a series of releases and compilation appearances for Sublime Frequencies and Sham Palace, is now releasing a new album on Ribbon Music. The record, entirely produced by Four Tet in Brooklyn last year, is a heady whirl from start to finish. Kicking off with the title track, Souleyman's trademark speedy BPMs and sharply delivered arabic vocals backed up by a frentic, slightly techno-fied version of his crisp, dizzy sound, the pace is largely kept quick. The deeper pulse of 'Nahy', the steady, snaking beat of 'Khattaba' provide more introspective moments and the end result is a unique …

The Marxist Bertolt Brecht once wrote 'home is wherever the sky is tallest'. For LesLord, that place is Dublin City, Ireland where even the most gormless of minds have something to contribute. Very much influenced by the mundanity and routine of sounds that regurgitate throughout the city yet in their 'monotony' contains their own distinct rhythm, hue, colour and timbre that secures LesLord's debut album THE WIMZICAL SHEROVOLTI. THE WIMZICAL SHEROVOLTI is happy in its abstraction as LesLord's unique style of performance swings between the emotions of immediacy - in fact, he has created a new language that is stripped of artifice and cliche that goes well beyond …

""The ill person who recovers sufficient strength to learn how to silence the racing mind, to see more of other people, of nature, and of the self, and to experience from time to time 'the mysterious order of all things', will find that circumstances which previously seemed to offer undiluted misery are first transcended and then gradually, magically, transformed.
