i keep having this dreams where i listen to some fictional bands i have never heard of and the songs i hear are fucking SICK! i wake up and when i realise that the songs i heard i had made up myself. so when i rush to get my camera to record the vocals and melodies and leave a note on what synths/vocoders i use (takes me about two minutes) i've forgotten it. what the fuck am i going to do?

What have you done lately, that's geeky (tech stuff mostly), that has worked out and makes you feel fucking awesome? I just dug out one of my older WirelessN routers and have just successfully flashed a 3rd party firmware on it (dd-wrt) and set it up as a wireless repeater, to increase the WiFi range in my house (we have a supporting wall that acts like a fucking lead wall). Regale us with your awesomeness.

Have we not had this one here yet? First against the wall when the revolution/civil war breaks out - at least they make it easy to identify them... RKOI

I've had foobar for quite a while now. I've gone through a few good layouts. Right now I'm finding out how excellent tabs are, and now I'm squeezing even more random crap into my player than ever before. What stuff have you added, downloaded, customized, etc? Any recommended external addons for it?

"The story centers on a man, played by Ben Affleck, who travels to Paris and enters a passionate affair with a European woman (Olga Kurylenko). He returns home, where he marries the European woman (in part for visa reasons) but then the relationship starts to fall apart. He winds up rekindling a romance with a hometown girl (Rachel McAdams) with whom he’s had a long history. What’s more exciting is that early word on the film said it was even more experimental than mixed-reviewed The Tree Of Life. It’s certainly not short on stars with the cast also including Javier Bardem, Barry Pepper, Rachel Weisz, Michael Sheen and, potentially, a cameo from Jessica Chastain." htt…

Anyone in Italy or with internet experience there who could help? I'd need internet access for 5 months in an apartment in Milan (studying there). Basically I don't mind if its super fast (I guess 5-8 mb would be more than enough, maybe even less but well...not dial up), I mainly want it in order to use Skype etc to keep contact with people back home, some basic browsing and the odd tv series torrent download now and then. So what's the cheapest, relatively good provider and type of contract/deal I could use? The most important factor is how fast they will be able to connect me (waiting for 20 days- a month wouldn't be nice...), stability and the fact I want something for…

There must be some folks here playing this crack-of-a-game ? I have to come clean at the start that I've never been a huge fan of playing Minecraft - I bought into the (then) alpha very early on, I like watching pictures and Youtubes of people's creations and the occasional Yogscast video (though the squeaky continual fawning of the main man does grate after a while) but playing it I tend to get a little bored of the rather aimless sandbox nature of the game (though I'm aware since I last played it there's now a end-game boss). So when I saw Terraria for the first time I thought 'pah, it's just Minecraft but one fewer dimension - it'll be even less interesting', but f…

So I had a dream I was driving Daniel Lopatin around some city at night and we were listening to an unheard cd-r of his, but since it was my dream, I made the music with my mind, but I didn't wake up in time to notate the music like I am sometimes fortunate enough to do, though I remember the texture. But the point of the dream is I asked him how it felt for him to be listening to his own music like this. He didn't answer, and then he switched it to the Rolling stones and started rocking out. That's even weirder because I barely know anything about them, and the only song I know and like is "Heaven." So it was a good dream all in all.

This was pretty good for lols. I think Matthews has been watching Sorkin's The Newsroom and he wanted to channel Will McAvoy. By the way, WTF kinda name is Reince Priebus? Sounds like a boss in Dark Souls!

Hello watumms. When I woke up this morning, I discovered three mosquito bites on my right forearm and two on my left. I mean, I always get bitten a lot by these dudes during the summer, but five in one night? Is this shit normal? Is there an easy way to get rid of mosquitoes? Please help me. This is a serious issue!
