You've heard it here guys. That guy was in The Goonies-- Imma throw bitch a bone. His intent cosmically aligns with mine-- but unfortunately for him- aesthetics matter. That's why nobody listens to the yelling homeless man on the corner, he looks like shit, dawg. But then you see a stunningly beautiful woman yell in the street, and there's no hesitation to run over and sincerely be concerned about her apparently troubled situation. Dude- Corey Feldman puts out similar messages as Michael Jackson did; Feldman is just a horrible technician. Michael Jackson was literally a robot, that's why his face got all fucked up. His mainframe processor overheated due to in…

So is all this WW3 media talk just exhaustion from the US Presidential election, and fatigue for anything but Trump kinda journalism, or possibly a real conflict set to arise over numerous issues including the standoff in Syria? The news sources are wank at best, but I can't even find a reliable DEFCON status for America. http://www.morningledger.com/us-russia-war-us-defcon-raised-to-level-3-air-force-ready-to-mobilize-in-15-mins/13111931/ This says level 3: http://defconwarningsystem.com/ This says we are level 5: http://www.defconlevel.com/ As there is no official DEFCON media outlet I can find. Then, you have Alex Jones and the conspiracy theorists, trying to…

Hey, I can't say I know a lot of things about how the thing is going on nowadays, but lately I tend to think a lot more about what I'm consuming and the impact it would have if everyone would consume that way. More particularly, I decided to reduce the amount of meat I eat. A few months ago I've came back living at my parents' place for a moment, and it's hard to stuck to the limit I putted on myself (no more than twice a week ; that includes every meal that has even a little bit of meat in it). Indeed, my parents, as a lot of people I believe, eat meat almost everyday. As I don't want to bring trouble in the family way of life, I don't put too much stress on them…

The Washington Post has a very interesting article about Derek Black, the son of Stormfront, a white supremacist group's founder - and how he realized the path his father set him on was wrong, and how he's on the road to redemption.

"Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature on Thursday for work that the Swedish Academy described as “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.” He is the first American to win the prize since Toni Morrison in 1993, and a groundbreaking choice by the Nobel committee to select the first literature laureate whose career has primarily been as a musician. Although long rumored as a contender for the prize, Dylan was far down the list of predicted winners, which included such renown writers as Haruki Murakami and Ngugi wa Thiong’o." https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/bob-dylan-wins-nobel-prize-in-lite…

What's up with that. It's bullshit imho. We spend all our lives figuring out what we want then we die right after we do.

We're down to 16 contenders! 2 matches last round were a tie. So I had to remove my own vote and declare the other topics the winner. So: Intentionally losing the "one" in a track, and getting lost in an amorphous bath of buzzes, clicks, and clanks beat Obsessing over music from 20 years ago because it's "cutting edge". and Nominating Ulillillia every year until he wins beat Being shamed for listening to repetitive music. So BOTH Ulillillia topics are still in. Ordinary words that sound vaguely futuristic was one of the lower seeded teams, but it's still in the running, after beating The fact that we didn't award MOST IDM to the minipops kid, and T…

Hello madams and sirs, I'll be making a trip to NYC in a week, and I'm looking for some things to do. I'm not really much for tourist attractions, but I would love to see some good record stores, cafes, breweries, events and whatnot. I'll actually be going to this event and hopefully seeing some of you there. Any recommendations?

Here's round 2. The results from round 1: Both teams about Ulillillia won. Uli's still got 2 teams in the ring! Both teams about amputating a body part and replacing it with something amusing lost. Sorry amputation enthusiasts, it's been real! One of the two teams about holding off on some action until vaporwave is officially declared dead made it though. The other is officially dead. So that means it is time to listen to vaporwave, but it's not yet time to actually make it. We finally found out that infinity to the power of zero amounts to nothing. Feeling inadequate couldn't cut it this year. DeepDream... keep dreaming! Maybe being kind of unsure perhaps of wha…
