Psyched, loved the first Loidis, still gets play here (IMHO the last quitegood thing our homebwoy Huevos has dripped in a fortnite).  Stoked that it's an LP too.

I enjoyed the first release but wasn't really expecting anything more from this alias, and I wouldve been slightly more hyped if it was a new Huerco S or Pendant record but Im always up for more from the lad.

Fun fact: Loidis is the viking name for the city of Leeds.

Seems like good stuff

I keep seeing this thread and reading it as "Londis" which is a sortof lowkey convenience store in the UK.

And that got me wondering what Londis "own brand" electronic music would sound like:

I'm thinking like low-fi 303 jams with loads of compression that are a bit repetitive but overall pretty servicable

Cool, that'd make sense given his last name then

This is probably the most approachable record he's ever made. Up tempo housey beats, dub techno chord stabs, filter swept break loops.. Its fairly inkeeping with the last Loidis release sonically..

close to (but never erring into) blandness with a sort of focussed, all encompassing serenity that was present on his ambient records.

It's really well put together. He's truly good at developing tracks with minimal ingredients and keeping them interesting and hypnotic.
As a fan of the more hazy ambient stuff, can't help imagine how rad these tracks might be slowed way down. At least 1 or 2 to vary things up a bit.

Fave track after a first listen: Sugar Snot

Love the murky hypnotic sound of this album. Good one! You can never quite hear the sounds clearly which adds to the atmosphere. Every track brings something to the table

I was gonna write something about being still intrigued/puzzled by the overall sound of the thing that feels "mp3 compression artifact but without the artifact blurps" but instead I guess I'll just soulseek the full K-Fed LP.
