Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest

fell asleep to this tonite (via the ustream that fellow instagramguy put up)

- a tune I find quite pleasing. Reminds me of Rue the whirl.

would have been cool if a huge tsunami wave roared down from that hill and wiped everyone out at the end.

it would have been cool if the water they where giving out had LSD in it.

would have been cool if the huge tsunami of lsd water roared down the hill and the bros were surfing down it on dozens of promotional 12"s lashed together with BoC stickers then when the crowd awoke after tripping balls for 24 hours they had free merch in their hands but couldn't remember how or why.

And while the participants had no memory of this magical night, Skytree awoke in a playground 865 miles from Lake Dolores, bombarded by returning memories of the greatest meditation of his life.

I'm so glad this isn't a track on the album. I don't want filler

Plus that's a bit of a crappy attempt at both analogue audio and video distortion from the boys

For those interested, Mojo gave the new LP 4 out of 5 stars in this months issue, out today.

I won't bother with the bullshit in between, but starts with "The kings of ethereal analogue electronica fashion glorious return", and ends with "Tomorrow's Harvest may be seasoned with Eno and Tangerine Dream, but in truth, Boards of Canada are peerless".

one looks lime green and one looks forest. and the blue one looks like it has light blue ink on the bottom instead of white on the top. if they are the top ones, I want green. if they are the bottom ones I want blue.

The one I got with my Exai shirt is exactly like the bottom one (blue).

Guest Lucy Faringold

official promo streams of the album are now 'out there' - including a somewhat bizarre security measure that I've never seen used before. Not gonna piss on Warp's chips by saying what it is but they're obviously pretty keen on holding off the leaks for as long as they can.

Then they should release the digital editions.

Warp have had more than a good run with this, milked it for all it's worth.

Time to let it go.
