alright, of all the amazing tracks that form elseq into what has already become one of my favourite ae-"major records" this is the one i keep obsessing about most constantly so far. so i hereby declare this to be its tribute thread. combining technically impressive macro-/microstructuring and execution with a gripping emotional immediacy this is ae coming full circle, eclectic yet unheard of. characteristic gearing up shenanigans, awakening of colossus, breaking fourth wall via paraphrasation of classic rave riff escalating til collapse unto itself taking track/beast along -> reconfiguration, finally:motion. from around 2 min inteferences gradually complicate th…

does it happen to you sometimes that when you chew a peace of meat (mostly beef), you chew it a bit too long and eventually it'll turn into some mush with a funny taste and you can't bring yourself to swallow it, so you continue to chew it which worsens the dilemma? this is how st epreo sounds to me. am i doing it wrong? how to listen to it so it's not shite? lol i wanted to delete everything leaky but it was still on the mobile mp3 player device

File Name: "Gescom DJs - Warp Radio 2001.mp3" File Submitter: madisonthorne File Submitted: 05 Aug 2016 File Category: Autechre Rip of Gescom DJs on Warp Radio, circa 2001. This was streamripped and then burnt to a CDr. After about 15 years and the loss of the original digital file, I found the CDr and cleaned it and ripped it to a single mp3. This originally came from http://warp-net.com in its puzzle incarnation, specifically the radio page which had mouseover pieces which would slide out. You could click and stream. Artists included Gescom, Broadcast, Plaid, Mira Calix and others. It has long since vanished. Click here to download this file

Along with several other sets from Broadcast, Mira Calix etc. , I ripped this Gescom set from the Warp Website in 2001. It was when they were using the puzzle incarnation of the site, and had a radio page where several pieces would jut out on mouseover and you could play sets. I tried reviving the Mira Calix from a CD I have, but I couldn't get any decent quality...too damaged. The Broadcast is lost although I have the tracklist. I found this one tonight and after several cleanings and different drives, I got a good rip of it. It's not perfect though, there are moments where it stutters or repeats itself very briefly. Overall it's really acceptable though considering …

I don't know how many of you guys love the Orlando set but I would totally pay for it and would love to have it in soundboard quality. AE, if you read this, I will seriously buy it from you. I am sure you have the soundboard of it. Please, please, please, release the soundboard of the Orlando set. I love the jams and the glitches! So many amazing moments. The fucking stop-times and kick rolls in the second half kill me totally. I love it. Such a fresh and banging set. This is probably the most catchy set for me of them all, it just works. And that 12:45 moment!!! Fuuuuuuuuuuu Joyrex, please, let them know of this thread... Audience recording of the set:

Good morning. Some questions for you. Can y'all help? I've been poking around Discogs whilst waiting for the footy season to start... Is there a C Letr Mx of Garbage? Or just in name alone? I have a track called 'Flutter' (edit) with voices towards the end. Does anyone else know about this? Fan made? Is the shorter version of Keynell (Mix 2) on the vinyl substantially different to that on the promo and the bleep release, or is it an edit? In fact how many different version of Keynell are there? Is there a digital version of the XAE version of Laughing Quarter? *asks nicely* (All of my vinyl is in storage while I wait to move house. Can't check) Is Autechre v notl…

Nobody puts baby in the corner. I'm looking for those high res scans that were posted here years ago, ep7, exai, oversteps, draft and move of ten. I want a monchrome gallery in the bedroom to accompany elseq who is out on his lonesome. Doesn't fit in with any of my current art. I've taken it all down. I want a row of six on the wall. Went to my local printshop today to ask about getting some descent 70x50 prints on the best paper they have....it's not cheap, 20 quid a print. I said ''oversteps will use much less ink than exai, can i get a discount?'' he said yes. Anyway, any of these high res pics around still?

I came across a mix set of Autechre stuff today on Youtube by a fella called Orkyx which I just started listening to and it reminded how much I do enjoy a good mix of autechral stuff. So, I'm wondering if I've missed any. The one's I know of are: VLR's Is It Washable mix Hanal's mix of AE stuff 2 mixes by Rocky Path (who I'm sure posts here (or at least used to)) Any others? I especially like it when there is a combination of stuff from the various eras.

I was twiddling around yesterday and recorded a little "see on see" remake. Thought you guys might like it :) [sc5][/sc5] I would be interested in hearing any remixes/ remakes you guys did. I've heard lots of Aphex Twin remixes and they always give me a fresh outlook on the original track, but i haven't found anything for AE.

Autechre Amazon Customer Review 1 2
by Guest Morgan Dunn- 28 replies

I went to buy an album and took a look at the customer responses...this was one of them: "Autechre has become something more to me than just an alternative to listening to music. Listening to Autechre, especially alone, has become an addictive way of life for me. It has changed me over the years. When I'm working the mail at my post office in the evenings, I like to work it while I'm listening to Autechre. The sounds of Autechre (in all its varying effects) truly compells me to just keep throwing that mail. It motivates me to work very fast as well as keeping my memory sharp (correctly throwing the right letters to the right carriers cubby-holes), and I can go …

Hello. Newbie here. Long time viewer and all that. Wondered if there's a possibility of anyone having a recording of the above set (Peel Session Live At London QEH 20/06/98). Gideon Coe played it on BBC6Music (UK) about six weeks ago on his show. It was 'Tilapia' but he called it 'Track One' and it had a much longer intro. I absolutely love it and would love to have the whole version. Can anyone help? Thx and love to all. This is a great forum to read, even though I don't get most of the in-jokes ! :) scrash

Got this at the London date of the Untitled tour. Worn maybe 5 times or less since then. The ink is reflective, the colour of the shirt is grey and slightly lighter than in these pics. Size: Medium If anyone is interested, make me an offer via PM.
