Its very funny the reaction of some aphex/idm fans. They talk shit about "pop music" and think they are the most sophisticated listeners around, now, they hear some avant-garde and said: "this is not music" "a orchestra tuning for 10 minutes".

Now somewhat more concrete details have surfaced: Greenwood and Penderecki plan to release the product of their collaborative sessions in Krakow, Poland, as a full-length album.It was revealed last week that classically trained Radiohead multi-instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood was collaborating with renowned Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki and was to perform alongside Aphex Twin at the Sacrum Profanum festival in Poland.

 

Though the official release date is yet to be determined, the album will be released on Nonesuch Records and prepared by the National Audiovisual Institute. It will include material which was unveiled last week at the two’s performance at the European Culture Congress in Wroclaw, Poland. Sacrum Profanum artistic director Filip Berkowicz is serving as the album’s producer.
