I've had way more fun hearing about Randy Pitchford's shennanigans than playing Borderlands.

Brings new meaning to the Handsome Collection, eh?

Another new retro console, the Polymega:

I can't wait to play Death Stranding, it looks like it's gonna be crazy! Sony pretty much gave Kojima a damn near unlimited budget for it too.

Shouldn't have sold my ps4 so soon. Probably zero chance this will ever see the light of day on PC.

Anyway, looks like they finally got around to using neural network upscaling for The Longest Journey.

People still playing Sekiro? I need to get back into it. I'm still on that Butterfly chick

I kinda gave up on Sekiro and moved on to other games, I got stuck on the first Owl fight, and just can't seem to do it... Before that though, I had already started to realize I wasn't having as much fun with Sekiro as I have with other From games, even when I did successfully beat a boss I didn't get that same satisfying feeling of victory I got from Soulsborne games. There's also not enough exploration and lore or customization to keep me interested elsewhere either... Sucks I wanted to love Sekiro, but I just don't, the combat is way too twitchy for me and it feels overly tedious to play.

Currently having much more fun doing a NG+ run in God of War... Also just have to say this game is fucking gorgeous in 4k HDR.

yeah i half really love sekiro.. the art design and world and overall feel of the movement and combat is so good. but it’s also really long (if you suck at it) and kinda dry. the lack of online really sucks some of the fun and goofiness out of the souls games. still worth checking imo .. but i never finished it

E3 predictions?

I'm predicting Nintendo will hit hard with the Legend of Zelda: Legacy Collection. featuring Legend of Zelda (NES), Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES), Link to the Past (SNES) and Link's Awakening (Gameboy) all in one convenient package.

Void Bastards is perhaps the first game I've played where enemies call you "twatface" and "dickwad". Plus it's made by former Irrational Games devs, and Steam users who own System Shock 2 get a 25% discount. Coincidence? I think not.

Either way, Void Bastards is potentially my new favorite game.

guardian ape's second form is an apparition type, so divine confetti is super effective against it. divine confetti is actually a straight up damage buff against any boss, which is never explained in the item description. combine that with an ako's sugar. gg ez

Which is hilarious because the PS4 is a PC.

is it though. PC will have background processes at play right ?

not sure what my point is here.. my PC compared to PS4 very easily outperforms in terms of graphics + framerates. but the background processes and interruptions is still something i think about. the plug and play nature of PS4 is indisputable.

It is a PC. It uses PC architecture, and runs a Linux kernel.

As far as background processes, unless you're running a PC that is 8 years old, background processes are irrelevant. My current rig absolutely fucking trounces every console out there, and will do for quite a while. It'll also likely trounce the next gen consoles too.

The only barrier to making it compatible with Windows PCs is making the controls work for keyboard and mouse users. The actual code is built for the x86-64 architecture, so it's not a code compatibility issue or little-endian / big-endian issue

Google says it's based of freeBSD which /= Linux. My point was that Sony is publishing the game so they are going to keep it exclusive to sell their propriety gaming hardware

Ahhh yeah, so it's not Linux it's UNIX (BSD is classed as proper UNIX). Still a PC though.

But yeah, that's why it's hilarious — it can totally be ported (considerably easily) to PC, but they won't. Because exclusivity. Which is even funnier considering that the margins on console hardware are pretty slim, and they make the money from games sales...

I'm going to keep playing Sekiro. Gameplay is on point and it just feels like a very well made single player game, I think most people that start it will eventually bucker down and complete it. But I get that it is kind of a step back to remove online coop or pvp.. Also it's lost some of the addictive incentives of broad stat building compared to DS and BB.

Jekyll and Hyde isn't nearly as bad as its reputation but that last level with the barrels is brutal.

Still, I'd never touched it before it showed up in the mail last night and I got through the first and most of the second level in the first 15 minutes, it's really not that hard until those barrels show up and actually kind of fun.

Definitely interesting enough to be worth the $9 but I can't imagine what it would have felt like to buy this thing new back when it came out.

I remember feeling confusion and disappointment when I rented it as a kid. Could make sense of what the game was or what you had to do.

Seems too soon for Divinity: OS 3 to be announced, so maybe the third in the main series (hopefully).

Actually it seems Larian's Baldur's Gate 3 teasings and rumours might be true. Downloading the video and opening up the file in a text editor reveals
