Now That Trump's President... (not any more!)

Remember that server in Trump Tower constantly pinging back and forth with Alfa Bank? It's relevant because it's involved in the Trump campaign's criminal activity and is subject to state charges in NY. Only federal charges can be pardoned. Stay tuned.

there are many 'little' details like this piling up and i hope it all comes together to sink these corrupt fuckholes.

i thought the federal gov't would eventually become so bloated and slow and "Brazil" like that it would do itself in through bureaucratic bullshit but i think the trump presidency is possibly going to speed up that mess through disorder and blinding corruption..

a couple years ago i was talking with someone about the election and this person said that USA needs a president who will bring the country together and 'heal' it and won't elect a Trump or similar because of that.. boy.. was he wrong (like everyone) but also right about what the country needed.. the divisions have grown deeper.. it's messier and more confused now and the nuts have been given a voice and are part of the conversation now.. for better or worse we're going to be on this ride for a while and feeling the affects of this fucking douchebag for a long time...

or we'll get nuked and it won't matter.

"Let’s see if we can find the solution. It’s something that I think is frankly, maybe not as difficult as people have thought.”

I'm starting to think maybe he is actually in the early stages of dementia.

A president who can't get his health care agenda through congress and the senate despite having republican majorities thinks he might solve the Israeli - Palestinian conflict.

has trump always referred to himself in the third person? or is he dictating these to some intern while he paces around the oval office wearing no pants and sock garters, tapping desks with a golf putter.

nah i think both of those tweets were written by someone else.

the one before is: "FBI Director Comey was the best thing that ever happened to Hillary Clinton in that he gave her a free pass for many bad deeds! The phony..."

"In That" really sticks out to me as not trump-like but i dunno.

It's still got to pass senate, and the comprises made to please the Freedom Caucus goons are being seen as a poison pill by some republicans in the senate.

Edit: but yes it's bad.

Annotated: Trump's Executive Order On Religious Liberty - http://www.npr.org/2017/05/04/526840823/annotated-trumps-executive-order-on-religious-liberty

Conscience Protections with Respect to Preventive-Care Mandate.  The Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall consider issuing amended regulations, consistent with applicable law, to address conscience-based objections to the preventive-care mandate promulgated under section 300gg-13(a)(4) of title 42, United States Code. This section calls on relevant government departments to draft new rules that will presumably allow any employer with a “conscience based” objection to birth control to avoid providing such coverage, even indirectly, to its employees.

'This section calls on relevant government departments to draft new rules that will presumably allow any employer with a “conscience based” objection to birth control to avoid providing such coverage, even indirectly, to its employees.

Under the Affordable Care Act, workplace insurance plans are required to include coverage for birth control with no out-of-pocket cost to the employee. Churches have always been exempt from that rule. And after protests, the Obama administration developed a workaround for religiously affiliated schools, hospitals and others that didn’t want to play a role in offering birth control. After the Supreme Court ruled in the Hobby Lobby case, this workaround was also extended to certain religiously motivated companies.

The workaround allows employers that don’t want to offer birth control coverage to issue a notice to that effect. In those cases, their insurance company will provide the contraceptive coverage itself. Some employers, such as the Little Sisters of the Poor, which runs nursing homes for the indigent, are not satisfied with this as they feel it still makes them complicit in the provision of birth control to which they have a religious objection.'

this isn't the part that gives the already tax-exempt churches (including megachurches which are about as devoid of any traditional piety, religious rites, outreach to poor activities, or community involvement) the ability to endorse political candidates and greater leeway on political activism

they shouldn't be tax exempt at all but no politician could even dare to suggest that and win an election in most of this country

So, there's been an order that all TVs in federal buildings be tuned to Fox News. Trump wants to change libel laws, so reporters can't say nasty things about the president. The FCC is investigating Stephen Colbert for saying Trump's mouth is Putin's cock holster. Meanwhile Trump has said good things about the despots around the world. I guess he must have talked to them lately and we all know he goes along with whatever the last person he spoke to said.

So true. It's all about spite with these Trump/GOP voters. They don't care that they will die homeless in a ditch after medical bankruptcy, as long as it made those damn librruls angry then it was worth it. The GOP has created a literal death cult.
