this is speaking about the breasts of the most beautiful woman that the narrator has ever seen and that he loves later they remove their shoes and practice boko-maru, or soul-mingling through the medium of bare foot-contact perhaps i am just an ardent admirer of vonnegut, but within the context of the novel, this is a best-ever sentence

my (not all that) strange habits are hair-removal based... i pull my nose hair out with my fingers by pinching and yanking. sometimes i pull them out in clumps. i think i actually quite enjoy it. i remove unsightly ear hairs by burning them off with a lighter. i don't want to look like this now do i... edit - i just found out that you can actually buy an electric nose & ear hair trimmer. wow. and i also like to baby-wipe my bumhole clean at least once a week (as well as showering of course) which i've mentioned here before somewhere.

I'm looking for some good scenes from science fiction films. Specifically, scenes that would be ideal for remaking the audio. So I would be taking out the original audio and replacing it with new sound effects. These scenes have to contain no or little dialogue. Any ideas?

I don't understand why they don't get enough business. They got a bad rep of being extremely fattening, but that fear obviously hasn't halted America's ongoing Bacon obsession (and, you know, obesity). The nail in this company's coffin is apparently a baker's strike. I'm going to head to my local outlet store and buy them out of Sno-Balls, Zingers, and Twinkies. I wish I had a big freezer. Oh yea, here's a link: http://money.cnn.com/2012/11/16/news/companies/hostess-closing/

An offshoot of the Occupy movement, Strike Debt, has found a way to buy anonymous chunks of debt for about five cents on the dollar. This is how debt collectors operate: they buy debt cheaply and then collect on the full amount. Instead of collecting on the debt, Strike Debt will forgive it. They will contact the former debtors, let them know their debt is gone, and ask politely if they will contribute to abolishing debt for someone else. They're going to launch this program publicly tomorrow. Incredibly, they've already raised over $150,000 - enough to erase $3,000,000 worth of debt. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. If you thin…

So work's been a bit gash lately, not getting along well with my boss and he's cunting me out to everyone else in the office so I'm going to be leaving in the next couple months. Little bit down about it, but today's a glorious day here in London. The sun's out, there's a lovely cool breeze. Was strolling down the embankment today listening to this Jeff Mills set which I think Chassis posted not too long back, pure class for anyone who hasn't heard it: http://youtu.be/5KP1heIEu0s I don't know if it was the sun, or the music, or a combination of both but it's got me really looking forward to the summer, getting a BBQ and having friends over to listen to some go…

Having grown up there, I can tell you their "justice" system is medieval to say the least. And it's always the woman's fault in that society. Don't get me started. http://www.saudigazette.com.sa/index.cfm?contentID=2009020828735&method=home.regcon

Apparently there is computer code inside the fabric of space according to some string theorists. Quote: "Doubly-even self-dual linear binary error-correcting block code," first invented by Claude Shannon in the 1940's, has been discovered embedded WITHIN the equations of superstring theory! Why does nature have this? What errors does it need to correct? What is an 'error' for nature? More importantly what is the explanation for this freakish discovery? Your guess is as good as mine. http://youtu.be/KZgverYyTz8 First trailer online. A lot of this film was shot in Glasgow last year. Are we facing "zombie overload" as we did with Vampire's a few years ago, and is this just the culmination of the successes of The Walking Dead / 28 days later etc. finally being realised by Hollywood. I'm not sure what I think of this so far. Depends if they go for a PG-12 style damp squib - or whether they ramp it up to full-on adults only. With the kids and Brad Pitt, I'm guessing its going to be (unfortunately) fairly family friendly viewing. Some of the scenes look quite cool (especially with the hordes rolling over the top of the bus) but with films…

So what do you guys think? My personal experience is that I was online with a big group of friends from the states (many different ones) all of this evening/tonight and they wanted Obama to win, although they all seem to like Paul Ryan and hope that he will run for election next year. A little part of them hoped that Romney would win because of this Paul dude. Were you rooting for Obama or did Romney seem to have a fresh approach to you? The one thing my friends did say is that Romney was particularly keen to amend the care/health system in place at the moment. Although they were unanimous in this probably just being a tact to get more votes, and something that wo…
