I'm in a bit of a weird spot in my life. and pardon me for opening up like this. delete now if you're not interested. stop reading here. really. ok. when I was 22 or 23, I had a whole 'fuck the world' attitude like everyone does at the time. or most people at least. but it passes. and you get older. and mature. move out. get a job. get married. start a family. settle into the rest of your life. but I'm finding now, that 23 year old attitude is coming out in spades. and it feels like this time it's for real. I have so much to be thankful for but I don't think I've ever felt more alone. I really feel like its me against everybody. i just want to say fuck you…

It'll most likely be up on YouTube in matter of minutes (I could only find a German one a couple of seconds ago, though) so here's a Quicktime link for the massive ass trailer. http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/cloudatlas/ This will either be a complete failure or a massive success. Some of the scenes in the trailer look beautiful (the sci-fi stuff) and some of the other stuff looks less good. I have not read the book so I have no idea what to expect but it looks like a longer version of The Fountain.

DB takes a spoiled, lazy bloke who takes his life for granted and convinces him--rather elaborately and expensively--that the world has ended. (I'm a huge DB fan)

So I've been on a smorgasbord of various antibiotics, codeine and ibuprofen recently, and this in combination with my usual seasonal 5000 calorie diet primarily consisting of curry and sprouts, has produced some quite alarming results. Anyway, I was in the girls department of urban outfitters buying some Christmas presents for my niece. I was perusing some overpriced hipster tat, engulfed by vacuous 15 year olds, when I let out the most spectacular and unexpected pumpydiddle. The farty crescendo gave those closest some advance warning, not that it was going to help in the crowded shop, of quite the most vile aether imaginable. I looked up to find myriad young faces repu…

Watching his show. He is surely the most painfully unfunny man ever? I'd say Fred West was more amusing. It's so bad I'm gluedto it, appalled.

You know when, for whatever reason, you think of a really specific kind of food and start craving it? I've been studying human nature for a while now, and when you put it in that context, it turns out to be a really interesting topic. Going back to our evolutionary days, cravings were essential. It made sure we had all the nutrients and vitamins we need to survive. The human body is designed to recognize all the different things you eat. It pays special attention to this task, just as it does to recognizing subtle body language, or the minute details of spoken word. Suppose you're eating a specific food, let's say a baked potato. Here your body is doing two things…

Last year I organized a watmm Christmas album, which can be found here: http://cytoplantastic.bandcamp.com/album/a-very-watmm-christmas-2011. Is there interest in doing another Christmas album this year? I'm posting this much later than I did last year, so chances are we'd get fewer submissions this year. But it would be nice to get a couple extra watmm Christmas tracks to go with last year's tracks. So what say yee?

Currently drinking some Mezcal. I'm not a fan of tequila at all, so I was skeptical to know it's made from agave, but I do have to say. It has quite a nice flavor. It's like the scotch of tequilas. Which is weird again because I don't much take to scotch. What do you guys have to say? Ever tried it? I'm currently imbibing with Los Nahuales.
