Anyone got a list of BoC's darker music? Preferably a mix or soundcloud but if not please list tracks so I can make a playlist. Examples 1. Most of Tomorrow's Harvest, but especially Gemini 2. Chinook 3. Basefree for examples of the darker, maybe industrial sounding tracks? Thanks!

I was at the Eaux Claires fest in Wisconsin and was lucky enough to witness the classical ensemble "Stargaze" perform the entire Hi Scores EP. It was transcendent. I didn't even know it was going to happen! I was there to see Paul Simon, Danny Brown and Mouse on Mars. I had to take a couple short videos to prove to myself later that it was real. I wish i had recorded the whole performance but i was overwhelmed with emotion and mostly had to keep my eyes shut to take it in. It was such a loving recreation of the tracks that i couldn't imagine it being any more perfect. Turquoise Hexagon Sun https://www.instagram.com/p/BVsVB8Th6uW/ Nlogax https://www.instagram.com…

Two users on Twoism have corroborated that Todd Osborne has original cassette copies of A Few Old Tunes & Boc Maxima in his Ypsilanti record store 'Technical Equipment Supply'! Did anyone here who went there see them also? Here are pics the OP of the Twoism topic took: The Twoism topic which contains some additional info/anecdotes: http://www.twoism.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13775

https://youtu.be/cS1lMn42l04 Edit: It's pretty mediocre in my opinion, lacks that distinct feel they usually have. And, unlike in their remix for cLOUDDEAD, the vocals sort of ruin it, as they have the same effect to them like these terrible, terrible "Symphony of Science" videos on Youtube.

So MHTRTC was the nostalgia buzz, Geogaddi was witchcrafty, TCH was ... not too sure....and TH was post-human memories and re-growth. What's next? Maybe something to do with the AI singularity? Interstellar colonization? Tough one to call!

The Wouldn't You like to be free 55 second sample is one of my favorite songs of all time. Is there any other music out there that sounds like this song? And don't just say something like "My Bloody Valentine", give me a specific song. The youtube clip has nasty audio compared to the clip I have :[

Can you identify the 30 selected songs? http://bocpages.org/wiki/Snippet_Contest Credit to Cupz for the co-op on this one! The solution and some fun insights will be shared 22nd of March 2017. PS: Yes I've shared this contest before, April 2016, but I never shared the solution and didn't have a page up on bocpages etc. I'd also would like to have a bit more entries.

I have unused download codes for Geogaddi, Campfire Headphase and In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country and Trans Canada Highway from the vinyl reissues. I don't need them because I have the CDs. Id like to trade them for some stickers, if anyone has any. PM me http://i.imgur.com/nl6gG4x.jpg

so what are your favorite boards of canada beats? there are a ton that I like. i love the way their beats subtley evolve in so many of their songs. but, i think my favorites are the beats in Kid for Today and Peacock Tail. Kid for Today has one of those great evolving beats. it starts off with that simple but catchy click. by the time it's fully evolved there's at least 4 different snare hits that i can count. Peacock Tail is simple but infectious. that big 'boom clap ba-boom clap-boom' gets me every time. yours?

I made these last year as components to larger mixes. Isolated them here for ease of listening. I've been pretty addicted Semena Mertvykh, so if anyone knows any tracks that sounds similar (with that post-apocolyptic vibe), please post it here.

This track made its way onto my tiny ears today: (if it doesn't automatically go to the right time, ffwd to 42m 10s) and the chord progression and general track progression really reminded me of this - Probably just coincidence but, I dunno - whatcho think ?
