So I've DJ'ed at my university radio station for over a year now and have had a blast playing tons of artists that I have earned a great appreciation for. Next week will be last the week of the semester as well as the last show of the year. As a special theme, I am pooling songs from friends and people I have met over the years. Even though I have not met most of you, I have heard lots of great artists on board here and would like to give back to the community by playing some of your tunes over the airwaves in Columbia, MO.

 

My show is primarily focused on hip-hop/electronica/downtempo, however, your music does not have to fit in this category. If you have a song or two that you feel is a pinnacle in your music making career, post a link here to where I can download it and I'll let everyone know what songs I will be choosing to play. I have a 2 hour span for my show, so I can fit quite a few of you guys into the rotation. Just try to keep it under 6 minutes.

 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: This Tuesday, Dec. 13, by 10pm.

 

My show is on TONIGHT, Dec 14 from Midnight - 2 AM CST.

I'm not sure what you're meaning with "original" and I made tunes quite different from each other. The few I'm posting here are not representative of all what I've done but anyway they could interest you

By original I mean songs that you produced and not just remixes. I want songs that you put some thought into.

 

I will be checking these out as soon as I'm out of my 3PM final.

Awesome submissions guys! Many of these will be getting some air-play so be sure to tune in to hear your song(s) as well as fellow board member's songs!

 

Just to clarify a few errors I made in the original post:

 

Submission deadline is TODAY, Dec 13 at 10 PM

 

My show is on TONIGHT, Dec 14 from MIDNIGHT to 2 AM

 

To listen to the show you have to be streaming at kcou.fm. The stream is live so make sure if you live in a different time zone that it is at the same time as here, which is CST

 

At 10 PM, I will post up the song schedule so you'll know when I'm playing your song.

 

If you still want to submit a tune, there's plenty of time and space, so don't hesitate!

Alright, the submission deadline has been reached and the turnout has been really fucking awesome! Received lots of dank tunes from everyone that submitted. Thank you everybody who submitted, I listened to them all and it has really made my day. I wasn't able to fit everyone in to the rotation, but there is always next year. I will probably start up another thread for next semester's show. Anyways, congratulations to those that made it into the lineup!
