Anyone planning to play Battleborn?

Yep, probably going to pick it up on PS4. I'm hoping the community stays alive for long enough. I thought it was a pretty well crafted game. Support is actually fun to play instead of just being someone's heal/buff bitch.

dark souls 3, road of sacrifice ,man, this game is castle porn!

...just wait til you get to Irithyll. I had to pause and look around for a few moments.

Making my way through Irithyll atm, just barely fought my way to the 2nd bonfire (praise it!)... Sensing a bit of a difficulty ramp in this area.

Inspired by cartoons of the 1930's, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional cel animation (hand drawn & hand inked!), watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

wow, didnt even know that, that's crazy

looks amazing. shame it's xboxclusive for console =\

dracula x is p fucking hard man. getting myself super psyched for bloodstained again. come on 2017

It looks absolutely incredible but the gameplay is not my cup of tea.

I see what you did there.

Looks pretty similar to Contra, gameplay-wise.

DS3 still kicking my butt. still loving it.

finally got around to tackling the fire dancer boss. this game is all about keeping itself one step ahead of the player with its steady difficulty progression. everything you'd expect from a dark souls game :):) the more im playing the more im enjoying.

It's still a shame.

Rumor has it that the game is fucking hard! Like ridiculously hard. Might turn some people off.

Really! That's good news in my books. I find most games these days way too easy.

If it is in fact going to be released on steam I think I'll pick it up for PC. I wish it was on ps4 though.

And the graphics are so charming.

Same here, but I've honestly been mostly breezing through most of the bosses. The only one that's tripped me up was Yhorm, and for fear of spoiling it I won't say why other than it felt cheap; I ended up summoning someone just to get me through because it was tiring/boring/etc. Dancer was so cool, her and the Watchers both I wish I'd died on a few times just so I could've played the fight again and again :)

The area/s after the Dancer though...shit. I only stepped foot in them then was like 'yep, I'd rather go get my ass beat down some more in Smouldering Lake. toodles.' But I've finished most (I'm playing blind so not 100% sure...) all else otherwise so far, about 60 hours in. Level 75, dex build...already can't wait for NG+ :)

Haha yeah it was third or fourth try on him, after trying different weapons, that I discovered the trick...but even then it felt cheap and didn't work correctly, so I just ended up summoning. No shame felt for bosses like that. I feel I'm pretty near the end game now though :)

Yeah you are but there are still "extra" areas to explore - keep your eyes peeled!

Getting more into invasions now that I've realised how ridiculously OP thrust weapons are. I've given myself enough intelligence to cast chameleon which has lead to some cheeky ass kills.

Oooh I've probably missed an area or two already, but I'm sure trying not to. Will definitely keep my eyes peeled for the next bit :) lol so you're one of those type of invaders? Punk! ;)

Oh yeah, invading has always been my favourite thing in Souls. Sadly DS3 forces invaders to almost always go up against hosts with phantoms, so using stealth as often as I can helps a lot. Wait for the group to engage a mini boss or tough enemy and get in there. Considering how difficult it is to punish estus chugging or bad weapon swings it's really the most effective strategy for invaders. My favourite kill last night was when TWO blue sentinels ran right past my disguise, leaving the host open to finish off. Nice work fellas :catrecline:
