Hello all. 3six Recordings is pleased to announce the new 36 EP "Pulse Dive" which will be available on limited 12" vinyl (100 copies) and 24bit digital, exclusively from www.3six.net in January 2015. Keep an eye out for it! https://soundcloud.com/3six/pulse-dive-ep-preview "The title track "Pulse Dive" is a personal favourite of mine, which I have kept under wraps for a while, but now is the time to release it. I actually started the track 5 years ago during the "Hollow" era, and it was originally going to be the first track on that album. I eventually scrapped it, as that album morphed into it's own thing and this tune felt like an anomaly. I didn't forg…

The third and final piece of the Subtle Audio’s VA comps has been out now for a while. Was surprised that there wasn’t already a topic of this, especially when I know that Code posts here sometimes. What we’ve got here are some old familiar SA artists like dgoHn, Nebula and Earl Grey along with some new Subtle Audio players. Like the other two comps the 3CD version has two discs of previously unreleased material and the third disc contains older stuff mixed by Code himself. Worth to check out if you’re a Drumfunk / Drum’n Bass fan. You can order bundles or single editions from their web shop. Code has posted quite a bunch of whole tracks in Subtle Audio’s facebook…

So, Wood Between Worlds has started putting up the Autumn Harvest tapes, a batch of cassette and digital releases. The full set can be grabbed here, and the individual releases are described below. Spiricom - Spiricom Imposing soundscapes, walls of distortion, arresting drones, haunting vocal loops: these sounds and more coalesce on Spiricom's debut cassette release, resulting in a strikingly cohesive and unique album. Taking influence from other genre-defying artists like Ulver, Leyland Kirby, and Current 93, these tracks utilize various styles - echoing tribal and dub techno on "Incantations" or harkening the deep ambient electronic compositions of Tim Hecker o…

This guy's stuff is all over the place, usually witch house, this one seems to be composed entirely of modem sounds. http://eyedoublecross.bandcamp.com/album/34590556-32987778

blue fourteen: Henry Plotnick

BLUE FOURTEEN: HENRY PLOTNICK C70 + download BUY HERE Playful, meditative, painless. The stacks of entwining loops that comprise Henry Plotnick’s music are so colourful and vibrant that they become visual - you picture them as perfect circles of dots, dashes and hues rotating, multiplying, blinking in and out. This isn’t music that you have to think hard about to find enjoyable. Its appeal is as universal as sunshine and crushed ice. Though these six pieces can build into dense patterns of information - only to be stripped right back to the bare ticks, tocks and pulses - they’re never overloading or difficult to compute. Rather, Henry’s musi…

Pour Le Plaisir - Tin Machine EP

POUR LE PLAISIR - TIN MACHINE EP one-sided frosted-clear heavyweight 180g vinyl 12" EP with screenprinted picture disc artwork + download BUY HERE It may be all of 4 tracks and 27 minutes long, but Pour Le Plasir’s Tin Machine EP is the closest we’ve come to a movie soundtrack. The film is Midnight Express: Legacy, in which Shia Labouf goes in search of his missing computer-animated heroin dealer father in a plot largely jerry-rigged to provide lots of slick music video montages. Because with analogue synthy house this throbbing and tense, why would you risk letting something like story getting in the way of th…

I know this is probably the wrong place to post this, but I do it anyway in case anyone might be interested. The Deathtrip will finally be releasing their first album after years of preparation. Old-school black metal all the way through, mixed and produced by Snorre Ruch (Thorns), with Aldrahn (Dødheimsgard, Thorns) on vocals and Host (manager at Peaceville Records) making all the music. This should be interesting to all nostalgic BM heads out there. http://newnoisemagazine.com/deathtrip-set-release-date-svart-records-debut/
