https://www.facebook.com/snares A new song of his is getting the orchestra treatment! He commented on the song being from a new album. Awesome! So excited. I hope those of us who can't make it to Winnipeg get to hear the orchestration somehow.

I like this. Alot. Sounds fresh, and I can't quite put my finger on influences. One of the tracks is a fast acidy sort of affair, real nice. The melodies are randomish, but in a good way. Percussion is also interesting, yet pretty basic. This isn't on Bleep yet, I will prefer to buy the CD anyways. Yay mu. What do you other geezers reckon?

Synthwave/Retro/lo-fi one-man project from Harkov, Ukraine and his first full-length album. Evoking the atmosphere of nostalgia with a somewhat USSRish taste. Deeply familliar and evocative for those who grew up on the territory of former Soviet Union and a great exotic piece of music for those who didn't. Quality stuff. Can be purchased from bandcamp

(I know it's a bit silly to make a thread with so little information, but I will obviously update it when more information gets available) Four Tet has really gone from being a decent artist, to one of my favorites in recent years. There Is Love In You and Pink were both amazing.

[sc5]120763020[/sc5] I must confess i gradually lost it with Xiu Xiu through the years for the obvious reason that you can't swallow syrups endlessly, and if you can, you're lieutenant of faggotry squad, which is appealing enough. But this new shit sounds strong or wicked in places, special praise for BLACK DICK song, early contender for the year's best. buy

James Holden is back with a new artist album, on one of my favourite labels (his own Border Community). https://bleep.com/release/43962-holden-the-inheritors Sounds like its pretty crazy, recent single "Gone Feral" was fairly nuts so I'm looking forward to hearing more samples of this stuff.... From RA: Sounds pretty good to me [sc5]https://soundcloud.com/border-community/holden-gone-feral-41bc[/sc5] *edit* LOL Ceephax has the first comment on soundcloud

The Notwist release their new album Close To The Glass in February, their first album since 2008's The Devil You + Me. These guys have released a couple of true classics in my opinion, with Shrink and especially Neon Golden being great records. They have a great combination of glitchy beats and more traditional indie rock stylings. Think The Postal Service, but I prefer The Notwist. If you are familiar with Console (check out Rocket in Pocket for another fantastic album!) you probably have a reasonable idea what to expect as well because Martin Gretschmann is responsible for the electronics in both bands. The first track from the new album is up on their site…

Really killer debut from this young chap. Streaming over at Pitchfork. It's ticking all the boxes for me that the Hopkins LP came up short with. Low slung techno with some shoegaze influences. http://pitchfork.com/advance/239-drone-logic/

A compilation of electronic music, available for free / pay-what you choose - raising money & awareness for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) Available here: http://musicsansfrontiers.com/ Featuring new & exclusive tracks from B12, Plaid, Nightwave, Milanese, Shadow Dancer, Global Goon, Radioactive Man, Jokers of the Scene, Hrdvsion, Posthuman and many more. This is the second charity compilation I've done, was really proud of 2011's Acid Relief (which raised money for the DEC), and this time I've doubled the target to £2000. MSF is a charity I've always supported personally - totally impartial, apolitical and non-religious: just humanitarian…
