So, that new Twin Peaks book by Mark Frost came out and

Surely that's a good thing, right? Hoping to pick it up tomorrow.

Won't go into detail, but perhaps it's best to leave last season's ending untouched and unexpanded. It left such a lasting impression on me that I feel like any added explanations for various side-character fates from the original show are just irrelevant and unnecessary. The show is over, whatever the ending meant is up to us to interpret.

I guess it was written in tandem or shortly after the show was filmed.

Looking forward to my copy turning up - sounds good to me if it deals with character from the show rather than the history of UFO sightings in the 1960s.

Halfway through reading the new book, great so far.  Just seems to be neatly wrapping up a lot of sideline stories. 

Some people are complaining about timeline discrepancies but if you know that much about TP then nothing will please you.

I did the rewatch on bluray in 3 days(ish)

 

The extras are gr8. Behind the scenes red room stuff ftw. All the actors are saying their lines into their smartphones and then playing them backwards lol.
