Aleksi Perälä - The Colundi Sequence

i dont mean to be a needy prick but why isn't the condi sequence explained in technical terms about how to tune your own music in microtonal condi scale? The whole thing seems to be unecesarily shrouded in mystery

i had forgotten about that cover, yeah that looks legit. Anybody here tried to do there own condi tuning ?

Yeah, someone archives all the colundi tracks here (including some watmm'ers):

Besides that, Jodey Kendrick's Solid Curve is a colundi tuned track too.

As far as sharing goes, I think Aleksi listed a lot of them on his website for years. Can't find them now anymore though.

Using .tun / .scl files?

Anyway, UK74R1512030, UK74R1512110 (Level 10) and UK74R1513030, UK74R1513040 and UK74R1513130 (11) are some of the finest tracks Aleksi has released to date, to my ears of course. Those new Colundi levels are absolutely fantastic.

Ah yessssss! I was already fearing and hoping for this when I saw Grant posting about another special occurrence in our solar system ( Venus-Jupiter conjunction this evening ). My creditcard and cranium receptor unit can hardly cope with the cumulative colundi coolness coming all within a two week time span. And I say hardly because here I am again, very much enjoying Level 12 so far (only halfway through). Gratitude once more!

The first track on Level 12 really does make my ears vibrate like nothing else can. It tickles. it delights and arouses my senses. Fucking great. Also rather enjoying UK74R1514220.

I used to think i was Ovuca/astrobotnia/A.Perala biggest fan on earth (i even dreamed i found onclements in a record shop, while i was really looking for the cds...embarassing :-P) but i found it hard to follow this flood of releases. i bought those wicked colundi series (1 to 8) but as i didnt have any time to really appreciate all those tracks, i'll wait for a while with those 10/11/12 colundi sequences, even if the comments on watmm are great. i dunno how you guys manage to listen to it all, i'm getting drowned in a sea of great records at the moment (AFX soundcloud didnt help). Funny times for electronic music lovers !

but i really digital releases, i will never buy one...

I really them too. Word to the wise though, if you want to survive after the machines take over, best to get yourself a few digital vinyls on your SSD, 24-bit and mirrored on your cloud account(s) of course
