New album from NHK yx Koyxen out on October 6, 2017 via DFA Records. FACT Mag blurb: Exit Entrance is the Japanese techno artist’s first record for the veteran New York label. According to a press release, the album’s eight tracks cover “elegant arrangements and crisp drum breaks”. The album closes with ‘Outset’, a “somber hushed techno tune” dedicated to the late Mika Vainio, who collaborated with Matsunaga on several records over the years. http://www.factmag.com/2017/08/10/nhk-yx-koyxen-exit-entrance-dfa-records/

Really effen good, don't let the coltrane spiritualistic track titties fool ya, it's a p upbeat funky affair, cut from the same cloth as the Epic but dat spaceage polymer microfiber weave is on da strengf B. It's an all instrumental notwithstanding the chorus vocals (ayeee no lyrics on any traxx). https://bleep.com/release/87302-kamasi-washington-harmony-of-difference ps - bleep didn't pay me for that link but are welcome to do so, buzz me brotendos

Makin' Magick by DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ 21 tracks, streaming now. Not the biggest fan of the lo-fi house buzz but have loved DJSTTDJ stuff since first hearing it, gets right amount of humour balanced with genuinely good dusty house music. 200 copies each on tape/cd/vinyl. Went for the vinyl as I want to try mixing it but tape would also be perfect imo.

The music here is free for you to download or to pay for. It's your call. It's not free because I place no value on this work. It's free because I mean it. It shows a slightly different side and production value to previously rele…

2nd album from Danish synth-improv duo Videodrones, dives deeper their brand of throbbing synth themes from the goriest movies that never was. "It’s easy to hear the starting point of Videodrones: From italian composers such as Fabio Frizzi, Marcello Giombini, Riz Ortolani - or even Morricone & Alessandroni at their most industrial. But Videodrones adds a touch of previously unheard madness to their Giallo-themed synth-gasms. Based largely on improvisation, Videodrones tosses and turns - it’s like the thing is ALIVE: leaving slimy trail of electronic musical styles in their wake: there’s toxic levels of italio disco, german kosmiche musik, new age, even some stabs…

https://wolvesinthethroneroom.bandcamp.com Now, a portal into the dreamworld of Wolves in the Throne Room opens again with THRICE WOVEN. It is a glorious return to the blazing and furious Black Metal that they alone can create! The album begins with Born From the Serpent’s Eye a true thrashing black metal epic that is bisected with a haunting northern lament sung by Swedish star Anna von Hausswolff. The band worked with metal documentarians Peter Beste and Nico Poalillo to create a video for this track which captures a bonfire-lit performance in the forest near their Olympia compound. The Old Ones Are With Us opens with the crackling of a fire and the voice of…

http://opaltapes.com/album/acid-drop Really nice mix of bangers and tunefulness on this. Opening track "Drum Machine Makes Me" blasts out the blocks all mad-scientist in the lab style with cheeseball effects smattering the stereo before the perfect plucking counterpoint rushes through to glue the track together with a little melancholy tech. "Berriat Acid" follows with action movie Linn drumming out high pace procedures to the troops... dumb smiles abound! "Compact 31" is all class, sci-fi electro from the warmest place. The B-side open with "None Of This Is Helping", a truly rousing piece of dramatic trancey acid, replete with white hot 303 lines just bla…
