I know what you mean. I think it's because it feels like a bunch of sketches with varying degrees of being fleshed-out. I've decided much/most/all of their stuff is like this, that they refine the results of jams rather than "composing". But that's never more apparent than it is with Legofeet. Which makes it feel more intimate and also really fun to listen to.
