There are two types of people who listen to music - those who appreciate tunes, and those who look upon it as a medium to express talent and emotion in whatever way the musician sees fit. OK, sometimes a cacophony of random sounds is way off the scale, but to see the way in which a genre of music can be twisted and jerked about like this is highly admirable in my opinion.

 

The emphasis on this new unreleased "The Blood Skeleton To March The Agonizing Ecstasy Of Richard D. James And The Muggings" album is brutalized drum and bass rhythms, electro and synth-pop. Distorted and twisted away from the conventional use of these rhythms, and mixed with some typical Aphex Twin sounds and samples, we are presented with one of Richard D. James' best unreleased albums to date. You will not be disappointed...

yeah like i'm not saying this is real or not...but surely there's a possibility that rich could very well decide to do exactly what we've seen here? i mean, why not? if he had all that stuff lying around and got sick of reading all the "WENS THE NEW ALBUM RICH WANT MORE ACIDZ" on forums like this one here then that alone would be motivation enough to fuck with them on this sort of scale.

This is a real mess.

 

Listened to about 15-20 min. of each mix. A handful of the tracks sound alright, like aleksi perala b-sides or something - particularly in mix 3. But most are pretty transparent.

 

And the blood skeleton mix is a total piss take versus the other ones.

 

I don't find it hard to believe somebody could make all this - even just 1-2 tracks a week would take care of it in 2 years. And considering the low quality of many of them, you could probably bang out 5 in an evening.

oscilik prolly has the same reliable source I have. Guys, Im telling you, its the real deal.

 

Remember when he said he had a ton of old tunes that were sorta rubbish and hed never release them? These are new revamps of old songs he did in his spare time for a laugh; others in the Rephlex stable have worked on parts as well...its not JUST RDJ...but its his concept.

 

This isn't even the first time he's done this; look up MC Spatula and you'll see what I mean.

anyway my next album is coming out soon. it's a musique concrete composition derived from a recording of sean booth beating me up because i got better trailer accommodations. Sean requires no less than 6 litres of evian in his trailer at all times. it's fucking wank. you'll love it. 3x the raep samples.
