Netlabel Audioscope have recently put out a Benefit compilation called 'Music For A Good Home 3'. All proceeds benefit Shelter, the UK's largest Homelessness charity: Available for purchase here: Music For A Good Home 3 by Audioscope The Seefeel track is pretty great, haven't listened to much else yet as I just finished DLing it from Bandcamp.

This was on my cassette tape radar recently, caught my eye at a local record store so I picked it up and really enjoyed it upon listen. Lot of tracks have a Drexciya / James Stinson vibe to it. Cassette itself is quite nice in looks and sounds great, as it's a type II chrome tape and not your typical type I entry level tape. Pre-order digital and/or tape here.

"‘System Fork’ was designed around the principle of Itamae. From a visit to Japan, Application learnt about how these students (Itamae) would watch the Sushi Master for 5 years before being given their first task. In the same way, every detail in ‘System Fork’ was described and thought about before any work in the studio was done." Pretty interesting record considering I'm not really into most of TBD releases. But Martin & Richard Dust have made some nice sounds and beats in this one. You can get it here: http://www.duststore.com/product/cd/system-fork

Noisia are finally taking a break from shitty soundtracks and rap and dropping some slick dnb again. On first listen, it sounds like that new studio of theirs is giving them a bang for their buck. I'm digging it

https://bleep.com/release/49561-clark-superscope Apparently he is also doing a Reddit AMA coming up, according to the Warp Facebook page. I'm at work so I can't listen to the preview but I'm hoping for something less disappointing than Iradelphic

[special Disc Pre-Order Includes Digital Download] The follow up to last years ‘The Dream’. Less dark in sound perhaps but like it’s predeccesor Still Life.. has dark undertones throughout it’s seven tracks. Adam Raisbeck showcases a glimpse of a disadvantaged familes struggle and the disturbing human reality that they face on the track ‘Claymore’.Throughout the album Raisbeck provides a bed of gentle rolling ambient synths and choice spoken words which tells us the story of Still Life.. Tracklisting : 1. Peacefunction (ice to water to gas) 2. MK Symphony1 3. Claymore 4. Benediction 5. Sympathy for sadness 6. How im feeling today 7. Salutations https://so…

http://youtu.be/4yW9yQUcFS0 not sure how i'm feeling about this one tbh. i like jon brooks (a lot) but i'm somewhat indifferent to moon wiring club. together, they make quite an unlikely duo that seem to be pulling from opposite ends of the spectrum; so i find the music on this release a little off: like it's trying to do 2 different things at the same time (and not in a good way).

"Muslimgauze: Chasing the Shadow of Bryn Jones is an Anthology of his early musical output and a biography on the late Bryn Jones, a Manchester, England-based musician who produced nearly 200 albums (some were multi-disc sets) between 1982 to 1998 and passed away aged 38 in 1999. Though the majority of his catalog is instrumental, his music is considered controversial by some where some retailers who went so far as to ban selected catalog items. An anti-colonialist at heart, Jones dedicated most of his music to Muslim-world struggles during his lifetime such as Soviet-occupied Afghanistan, the Iran/Iraq war, and the Lebanon civil war, to name a few, with an emphasis on th…
