Anyone know of more epic evil dark synth rock/trip hop like:

Ive searched through out their catalog and this song(especially live) is on another level compared to the rest of their material. I don't know of any other artists that have done tracks/performances of fully within these dynamics. I know of quite a few good trip hop group's but I'm pretty sure none of them have jammed out with their clams out this hard? please tell me this isn't so, show me something even more wicked, pleeez EDIT:why cant we just use regular html embed codes?

when i listen to new shit such as arovane, proem, telefon tel aviv, apparat, and a bunch of other newer idm artists, i generally come away feeling disappointed. it's as if they are able to define what is cool/desirable/listenable and just throw it at you in idm format. technically, a lot of these guys are great. TTA has some fantastic editing, arovane has nice melodies, apparat sounds very well put together, like a lot of time was spent EQing and mastering his tunes. but again, i don't feel the same excitement and i think i know why. when listening to my own personal holy grail of music that is autechre, i find i have to work to figure out what's happening. it's the o…

man, he was at the top of his game lampooning old 80s stuff like Stevie V, Lisa Lisa, even El De Barge or The Jets. his tales of love on the dance floor, sympathy for gay prostitutes, even shout outs to jesus were classically catchy and funny as shit. listening to the full version of Wave Funk, the tracks seems to drone from one to the other and almost sound the same after a while. don't get me wrong, i like the more dry sound he is working with now, but throw us a bone Ed, and bring back your pimpin' ways!

I couldn't find a place to stream it online, so I decided to just upload the song. It's "Shave My Head" from the Jack Dangers mix album "Hello Friends!". I think it's sick as shit and want some more tunes like this. 01 Shave My Head 1.mp3

I'm kind-of leaning towards UTP because of the extra CD, but I'd like to ask my favorite group of music makers before making a decision

From Last.fm: This artist is from the future. There are no current records of his life, where he lives, or anything about him. This album must be treated with great respect, because it is the first that has been sent back in time to us. Perhaps we will someday find out how this artist was able to send his album back in time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07x_k7oHr_U&feature=related Apparently in the future, middle east will become the mecca of electronic music
