I think so!

I've got things OC'ed a bit, should run fine tbh as long as I stay away from 4k.

The Ultra Nightmare settings seem to need a ridiculous rig - 10k + type of thing. Or perhaps I've really fallen behind on my PC build!

Going to be a great game I think, really looking forward to it + seeing your review of it here. cheers

Anyone up for a game of borderlands 3?

I'm not on right now but you should add me my username is Potato890 - not sure how it works with the new crossplay stuff, my shift acct is Zsajdba7 so adding either of those should work.. I think.

lol

Added. I'm level 51 and just clearing up the last 20 percent of tvhm but I think I'm gonna buy the DLC when I've finished. I would usually wait till they are 3 pounds not 11 but considering the circumstances buying computer games is irritating me a lot less.

I'm not going to lie, being trapped in the house without even the option of socialising is actually making me quite calm and happy. Usually every day off that I dont spend doing hours of work towards my hopeful music career makes me frustrated and angry at myself but all of a sudden I just feel happy enjoying things like computer games and drinking a few beers by myself again. I miss the gym, but I've been walking 5 miles down the cycle path behind my house each morning and doing yoga.

how are you liking it?

Superhot is amazing - as expected. Other than that it’s one big novelty, but it’s cool. I dig it.

so far so good - running everything on ultra nightmare except have the resolution at 2560x1440, fps flits around from 100-160.

Only issue I'm having actually is with the audio cutting in and out occasionally.... =/

Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing seems like the perfect combination for dealing with rage and anxiety righ tnow.

I've only completed the first chapter of Doom Eternal so far, but I can't help but sense a disconnect from its predecessor. It's primarily because the game is much more stringent with ammo this time around, even more than Half-Life 2. But there's also more acrobatics/gymnastics you have to achieve and Mario-esque hazards. Plus they've shoehorned more RPG-type elements, like each monster has specific weaknesses now. It's not as simple as just dashing around with guns blazing anymore.

Also, what of Samuel Hayden? Why is there no intro explaining how the Doom Slayer ended up where he did?

I dunno. Not saying it's bad. I just feel like it lacks continuity. Maybe after a few more hours in I'll adapt better to the new gameplay mechanics. But this game alone is the main reason I bought a 1400 dollar PC. Might as well get my money's worth.
