Formatting date as anything other than mm/dd/yy or mm/dd/yyyy should be criminal.

Makes document control a nightmare.

but whole world uses DMY, except USA + Canada. also metric system is better than Imperial system, obviously tsk tsk tsk

mm/dd/yy triggers my (fake) OCD.

dd/mm/yy is better because it's small to big, but also problematic for sorting.

yyyy-mm-dd is clearly the best way; sort first by year, then month, then date in file lists. This is how I've been organising my track files since 2003..

WOW! Tons of posts about orders being sent out...

So great that this wasn't delayed again. I'm psyched to receive my confirmation email...

And for what it's worth... YYYY//MM/DD is how I've organized everything in my folders as well.

=P

**edit**

Oh yeah, and thank you, Jason, for posting images of the CD set. It looks so sweet. I hope I receive this before I go on vacation.

^^makes total sense. isn't that the international way? with the "-" instead of "/" or "."

Yeah, I meant '-', as folders won't be named with a '/'...

yyyy-mm-dd is the international standard I do believe, ISO 8601.

Nope. In Hungary we use YMD. Everything else sucks.

CD set from those photos looks rad, although would have appreciated individual Session slips as well (if you want to just have 1 session in the car for a period or something). I guess this is full box set, rather than the individual physical releases bundled.

ISO8601 mos def, although DD/MM/YYYY has its purposes and environments. Anything with DD in the middle is cringe.
