''Atmospheric and ambient dub master Yagya serves up Stars And Dust, his seventh full length album and second on Delsin. It finds the Icelandic artist perfectly pair melody and minimalism to create ten more tender tracks that will sooth both body and mind with a range of very real emotions. Electronic but organic, it is another complete work that encourages you to lay back and get lost in sumptuous sound''.

I'd never heard of this guy before, but came across one of his tracks "Corvus" from his forthcoming album and it's seriously impressive stuff. I can definitely hear an Autechre influence with a bit of a hip hop vibe and long form sound exploration. The other track released from the album reminds me a bit of AFX, but I think this is all sounding pretty exciting and fresh. I'm eagerly anticipating this album coming out in June, and if the rest lives up to the tracks released so far we could be looking at something special indeed! Check it out and see what you think: http://sylkougai.com/

The show may have petered out half way thru, but the music was solid throughout, thanks to excellent work by Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest. The digital release features the full score plus the Method Man single, and a few R&B classics they were able to license, but not all of the pop artists. The 180g double yellow vinyl is being released by Mondo Tees, it will probly just be the score. Recommended for beat heads, fans of 70s soul / funk and blacksploitation films. https://itun.es/us/_oYmfb https://mondotees.com/products/luke-cage-original-soundtrack-2xlp-pre-order?mc_cid=e5a7e99e39&mc_eid=cdcb6d1f62

Beautiful new release on Frozen Reeds, if you like Reich and 70's New York scene or Arthur Russell it's a must purchase. Something incredibly spiritual about it. http://frozenreeds.com/?p=300

https://bvdub.bandcamp.com/album/yours-are-stories-of-sadness Different project from him. There's many melodic downtempo track. there's still a lot of tracks with bvdub-type atmospheric ambient, but many much more melodically driven downtempo tracks that seem, I hope, a new direction from him: track 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13 particularly! May be my fav downtempo release form him. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

This is probably super-pretentious to put out a compilation as a no-name musician, but what the hell.. I have a huge backlog of old tracks from 2010 onwards and some of them are ok. I'm going to put them on a couple of different compilations according to styles and genres and this first one has more ambient and chill stuff. Prolly going next for techno/house stuff and there's also a good amount of somewhat experimental stuff. Some of the old mixes are also a bit harsh and amateurish but I eq'd what I could so your ears don't explode. ok: https://thiefinger.bandcamp.com/album/2011-2013-vol-1-chills ps. gonna change that cover art but that'll do for now

Departing from their usual hauntology / folky fair, this one is presented as a mixtape of post rave memories, one continuous track. Recommended. https://ayearinthecountry.bandcamp.com/album/no-more-unto-the-dance

"This is the story of a nameless astronaut, left forgotten in his ship, drifting alone in the vast emptiness of space. No window to return home, and no opportunity to find another. A living stasis, with all hope lost. All that endures are his thoughts and the fleeting memories of another life... A time when love and hope still remained in his heart. Each artist on this album has recorded their own interpretation of this tale, inspired by their own unique experiences and imagination. Combined with you, the listener, they form the complete story. Feelings like loneliness, longing and love are often hard to translate into words. Perhaps that is why music is so close to …

Available soon on 3LP or CD. The Clone Basement series dedicated to the true spirit of techno and music that excels in a dark smokey and isolated basement (including the dark corners of your brain) comes up with its first album release. This album explores the spiritual side of techno with a full length album by Finnish artist Aleksi Perälä constructed from parts of the various Colundi Sequence levels presented so far. This is a limited triple album containing the spirit of the Colundi Sequence and showcasing the multiplicity of emotions and conditions as defined through the Colundi Scales. These scales are 128 resonant frequencies chosen via experimentation …

Russia's first Techno track finally get's an official release! The New Composers are an electronic duo based in St.Petersburg Russia. In 1990 the band partnered with London based label Ark Records to release their first single 'Sputnik Of Life'. The label printed up a handful of white 12" vinyls which were given to select DJ's. The record found its way into the hands of Orbital / Coco Steel And Lovebomb / Ultramarine who sampled the distinctive Bleep sound in their own individual tracks. Now for the first time the original tune get's a full proper release worldwide. The EP will be available digitally in October via Juno / Itunes /Amazon and all good retaile…

Previously available as CD only (out of print), this legendary album is now uploaded for your streaming pleasure. This was the original compilation resulting from the "What is the Most IDM Thing" tournament. Due to the amazing poise and tenacity of Deep Sea Creatures, a cinderella team who were runners up in the 2007 tournament, it was decided that a tribute album be made in their honor. Before you is the resulting tribute, including a previously unreleased bonus track entitled "Deep Sea Cowbell." Please enjoy. https://soundcloud.com/futonic/sets/futonic-presents-deep-sea
