at first I was ok, but then fighting and shooting mechanics kicks in and that looks crazy, overall that's looks like uncharted game spirit, the climbing is much more physical

YES! This game looks amazing! I'm super excited for this. I loved Uncharted 1-3. Can't wait!

Very early (ie unconfirmed) reports that Ralph Baer 'the father of video games' has passed away. Sad if true, the man was the catalyst for the entire industry.

I just finished Bayonetta 2 the other day. Game of the Year for me. Now I can spend more time on Smash, and I also need to give Persona Q a spin. I picked up Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z the other day for next to nothing. Anyone played it? Is it as bad as they say?

Same here. Those games raised the bar for storytelling and the PS3's visual capabilities.

I don't have a PS4 yet, but I'm gonna make sure I have one just in time for this. Or THPS5/Silent Hills, whichever one comes first.

I bought Dark Souls: Prepare to Die for $5 on Steam. I keep getting killed by skeleton warriors who reanimate right after being defeated. When does the real fun begin? I like the atmosphere and the combat controls are good, but the openness of the world is both enticing and irritating. I like that it's not a fetch-quest game though.

You're actually headed to the catacombs, which is the wrong way. Head towards the staircase on the cliff where you see a big bridge, to the Undead Burg.

Looks nice, and I like the idea of a huge open world, but the fact they were sitting there talking while travelling is giving me Wind-Waker-esque sailing feelings... I hope the travelling will be a bit more exciting.

For joyboss (not my work tho)

Looks like Sony finally learned their early mistakes with PS3 and with major title exclusives like this and SFV, Microsoft has a tough road to travel...

Although, FUCKING LOL @ Final Fantasy VII on PS4 - it's a port of the PC version!

i would actually buy the ps4 port if it were cross buy and cloud save w/vita. i have so many split up half started games on various platforms it'd be nice to consolidate to the ps4/vita. also really hoping msoft doesn't respond to the sfv and try to get tekken exclusivity. have no interest in entering the xbox ecosystem. also hate playing conventional videogames on pc and would no doubt have to upgrade to be able to run it.

Haha, did exactly the same thing on my first play and very nearly gave up! Think of it as a maze with invisible walls, if something seems damn near impossible then there's a chance you don't have to tackle it till later. But yeah at the starting bonfire head right and up rather than down and left !

Dont be scared to try and run past impossible enemies and grab shit from any chests you can find though, good way to get cool shit. Even if you die right after the items picked up you still keep it.

Has anybody tried the 8 player mode on Super Smash Bros for WiiU? I did last week and I couldn't understand what was going on. It was nevertheless really entertaining but not the definitive way to play the game.

As for the online mode asked earlier in the thread: duels run smoothly despite the little delay, but 4 player matches lag a lot. There seems to be no region option unlike in Mario Kart.

This is a fan-made film created entirely in Team Fortress 2.

Fan-fucking-made, guys.

It's part of the new update Valve are rolling out for TF2. All of the assets have been made by the community, which is pretty cool. So yeah, that's what I'm currently playing.

I actually think this analogy is pretty spot on.

Wind Waker style exploring / map but on land instead of on boat.

Either way, I am stupid excited. Love all the Zelda games pretty much even when they kind of get muddled and a bit flawed (ie. Skyward sword.. )
