yeah, depends on what you thought of the Fountain, innit?

will be gash. Though I'll probably get a perverse thrill watching "mr. Oscar-caliber Crowe" interacting with 6 armed aliens.

Sounds like John Carpenter of Mars, but with more cubits

my friend is currently working on this, he claims it has really top notch visual effects. He also previously worked on Black Swan which i guess had a ton of non detectable CGI shots. All the scenes of her dancing in front of the mirror had to be heavily worked on in a computer to remove the crew and camera/light rigs being reflected in it. In some ways those are the best type of special effects, the ones you don't notice at all.

its related to it but its not following the story as written in the bible if that's what you mean. It's based off a graphic novel that uses the bible story has a basis for a bunch of weird shit. I imagine this will be a much stranger/surreal version of what Scorcese did in the Last Temptation of Christ

I like his films, but I did't care too much for Dark Swan.

Anyways, he's one of the more interesting contemporary filmmakers along with PTA. Looking forward to Inherent Vice as well.

The book of genesis illustrated by r. crumb is pretty sweet. I fear this will be an epic turd like Cloud Atlas. That's what the synopsis+actors list reads like anyway. It will probably be a lot more entertaining, and better looking. Yeah, I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully it'll be nuts.
