I understand back catalogue as previously released material, out of print or not. And it sounds like he has found better sources and/or versions of a lot of the tracks from his old releases.

Depends on what Richard considers his back catalogue... he might consider all the stuff he's ever gotten close to releasing as part of HIS catalogue...

at first i was psyched from the context clues of the meaning and usage of the word "immanent" but then I decided to see what the dictionary said:
