Just purchased this as well, and it sounds bloody fantastic ;)

Exactly what I expected from him. Great soundtrack vibe... really progressive.

Bandcamp FLACs are 24 bit if anyone cares.

the ones I downloaded are 24-bit, except for the last two, which are 16-bit.

Was going to pick up a copy locally today, but they've sold out already! Word is getting out, it seems... ordered online instead, not sleeping on this one.

do you think imperial lounge (maximillion) is the closest andy will ever come to dubstep?

yeah quincy's classic is a standout. yum good vibes

it sounds like a forgotten chicago house classic (hence the name). newhaven lights is like the acid house equivalent.

quincys classic reminds me of the casino level on sonic the hedgehog 2, which was prob always my fav sonic

i'm talking about the genesis game, none of the 3d shit even counts

anyway the music isn't really super similar but just the vibe kinda reminds me.

and cooling ponds reminds me of the oil ocean stages.

it really is like an atmospheric soundtrack type of thing. little bit of blade runner in there too. i love that kind of stuff best i think, stuff that makes me imagine places.

just bought the sold out color vinyl on discogs. Best release in 2013 besides Exai

Better than new bonobo, new lusine, new depeche mode and new jamie lidell.

Clark likes it too:

He out-Legowelted, Legowelt. Of course RA, Fact and everybody else who has been newly fawning over Danny's resurgence will mostly likely ignore this, sadly..

FWIW. I like this A LOT more. Better production, not one dimensional, more emotion. I didn't realize what is was about Legowelt until recently that bothered me. All his drums are basically one single pattern with no variances throughout entire tracks. Almost all the time.

His GF is a better drum programmer..

Him and posing with all of his synths, I'd say his personal focus isn't really about drums.

I kinda feel like Quincy's will be the first one I will get sick of.

Maybe I'm just getting sick of those specific retro vibes, Roland D50, etc. So many house records right now are on that tip to the extreme without any variation.

Labels like:

Rush Hour

Aus

Clone

But then again, it is probably the track I would play out in a DJ set. Ha...
