This is instantly added to a handful of IDM albums that will still hold my attention if I close my eyes and float away into it (I like a lot of IDM, but typically more in the background when working/walking/hanging with friends). Wonderful tripped-out beats. It's a plus that the sound design is great--it sounds fantastic on my Focal cans.

I suspect this will become my favorite Richard Devine release.

It sounds so clear and perfect while being warm and organic. I like the general mid-heavy and easy on the ears full-bodied warm & fuzzy sound this has. It's so deeply layered but not difficult to listen to, every sound has its place. There are some amazing moments in there, really eye opening at times I dare to say (meaning I've never heard anything like it). Even the worst parts aren't that bad

there's some good stuff.  it seems more subtle than some of his other releases but not so sure.  some of the tracks sound almost minimal.  i dig it. i like the space around certain sounds.  i listened to it a few times at work today.  it's catchy.

This is just business as usual for ol' Richie. I know he has lit Insta modular porn, claims this one is gonna be "warm", etc. but I could barely keep my attention on it. Cautella at least had some jump-up moments that would spike your blood pressure for a bit. It says in his bio that he has done sound design for BMW, Jaguar, Google and Apple and this is what this album is...bougie smartphones, peripherals and luxury options running in the same room. Looks and sounds slick but then what?

Yeah, I was extremely whelmed

That's punk nowadays bra. Electronic music is as radical as red bull.

I enjoyed it more than the nts sessions if that's what you mean lol.

Don’t know that it’s fair to compare the two, as this is a fully formed modular masterpiece and NTS is so sprawling and digital.

I also genuinely love this set as a fully-fleshed out album. I know “world building” is becoming cliche, but this album really takes me to another place. Don’t really get the argument that there is no emotion here either. Several of these tracks are very melodic.
