by using the "media" button (the last icon that looks like three pictures in the editor), you can now post external links to your MP3s that will play in a mini media player - Blicero's great Mp3 player got zapped by the board upgrade, and until we decide what to do with it (bring it back or keep this one), please use this one as an alternate option. Anybody have opinions either way on either player, preferences, etc.? You can also type out {media}http://www.yoursite.com/yoursong.mp3{/media} (replace the curly brackets for the square ones) manually as well.

The YLC is starting to look like a fucking wasteland, guys. There are so many threads being created all the time and so many of these threads never get any replies. It's wonderful that so many people want to share their creations but it would be even more wonderful if you guys would consider the following before posting: - Are you not getting any replies? Well, before posting a new thread you should maybe comment on some other people's music. Rule of thumb, comment on at least 10 tracks before posting your own. Have you done this? No? Well, get going, buddy. There are +300 pages of music in the YLC. - Is your feedback/comments worth reading? Are you giving sound advice …

Hey everybody, I'm pretty excited about some tracks I recorded recently, and I'd like to share them here with you all: Inside Today Smooth In The Cold This Moment They were all recorded live with the following gear: Roland Alpha Juno, Mutable Instruments Shruthi-1, DSI Toraiz AS-1, DSI Evolver, and an MPC 500, with the breaks coming off of a laptop. Ableton was sequencing everything, and my Focusrite interface took care of recording the performance. The recordings are a bit rough in places, but once I get proper recordings, I think I'm going to try to find a label that might release them, such as WeMe Records, or a label similar to them. Let me know if you t…

Been doing a bunch of relatively straightforward tracks, a drum track and some live synth takes mostly. First one's quite upbeat, the rest are rather downtempo. Last one is a sentimental bit that got a bit overcooked from ping-ponging too much on the 8-track.

I'll post music here for my tsrono releases. In most or all cases this will be finished products, except for mastering, and so I'm not looking for help with direction of the songs or things like that, but I'll be welcoming any general comments you have. I'm particularly interested in feedback on production quality and suggestions based on that. Thanks for listening if you do! So here's some stuff from a new ep: You can download the entire reins ep over at bandcamp: http://tsrono.bandcamp.com I've also put up the ep over on last.fm: http://www.last.fm/music/tsrono

Hi all, I been producing for a few years now, on and off. I decided to make my current tracks available on Spotify. I aint a pro but I do everything myself. I make an original composition (no old music samples resampled) play it and mix and master it myself. I do this because this costs me the least money. I am not there yet at all, I know that. Yet it would be fun if some of you listened to some of my tracks, when they are released on Spotify, which I shall all add to this post in the future and let me know what you think about it. I labeled it as dance for genre but I would not know what I should call it. I release with tunecore and if you select electronic yo…

Recently I had a bit of a breakthrough in renoise and the intricate drums are flowing fast. There is no better buzz when a track is coming together easily. Thanks for listening : - )

I have very bad speakers. I have good headphones: Sennheiser HD26 Pro. I need headphones cause I do not live alone and I work for hours. I am unemployed due to my sickness and so I have a lot of time. I would like to know if the song is at least listenable. There can be mistakes but if its not too bad I do not care. I am FAR from a pro. I just want to know if it sounds not all to bad. I will use this topics for all mix request I ask. On the moment I have one request for the track: For Freedom

I'll just make this one thread where I can spam my tracks without always making a new topic etc. I made some simple house. Quite happy with how it sounds. Had to tune the vocal sample around a bit because the first mix sounded way too out of tune. I don't mind a bit of dissonance if it sounds cool. Like many older house and jungle tracks have samples that tonally have little to do with the bassline or synths yet it sounds good. In this case though it was too off. Now it's a bit too chipmunkish but at least it's not as bad anymore. I mostly tried to make variation to the track by volume automation, bringing elements in and out and adjusting the cutoff filter on the…
