There were only about 200 people or so there but that didn't seem to matter. They played one hell of a show. I was right up front. The guy is amazing live. His band was tight as hell and his solo stuff was outta this world. This was his second appearance there and I hope he comes back for a third. What a show!

Hi folks......been a while since I've posted on here, though I lurk almost daily. What music most identifies with Fall for you? I think of Walter(Wendy) Carlos - Sonic Seasonings......Casino vs. Japan, Freescha, Canyon Country, dead eros, Ten and Tracer, milieu, fieldtriqp, Boards of Canada, trills, hills west, etc. Share your favorite Fall music selections......I'm always looking/listening for something new to add to my playlist......Any synth-based(with beats) stuff would be cool, but all suggestions are welcome. I've been diggin' stuff from Lukid lately as well.(Someone recommended deerhunter on here and I'm finding some of their songs to fit in nicely with…

Ive started my collection. There are a shit load of vinyls in my house but none but a handful are mine. Why do you prefer to buy things on vinyl. Is it just because you like the way it sounds or is it actually having the physical release give you some sort of pleasure? Or maybe you DJ vinyl which would be fucking ludicrous these days. Also recommend me the lowest costing turntable that will still gimme a good sound. I dont need it to be transportable at all. Discuss.

The problem with having a site that [really slowly] evolves over the years is that you sometimes forget about files that have been hanging around for far too long. I'd recently noticed that some of our albums had only been available on our site in a rather shitty 128kbps 'glory', so I sought out high and low for the original master CDs (some of them were nearly lost due to bit rot) and re-uploaded them v0 mp3 quality. The four albums from oldest to newest that were either in crappy 128kbps or bizarre like v5 quality that have now been updated are the following - Pathogenesis - Released 2001 - 116 mins 35 secs http://ilovecubus.co.uk/v2/downloads/pathogenesis …

what are your favourite idm releases from the early 2000s? i've just rediscovered a few of mine since acquiring near mint vinyl copies. plaid - double figure brothomstates - claro lfo - sheath bola - fyuti i know there are the obvious ones like drukqs, confield, geogaddi etc, but it would be nice to hear some stuff that wasn't talked about quite as much. anyway post your favourites and let's get a little bit of 8-10 years ago nostalgia going.

Antennae have made some of my favourite hip-hop, but I only got listening to them again after a break of a good while (mainly because I only rediscovered some of they music I had of theirs on a CD). Are they still making music together? I'm sure I read that they had split, and I know that one of the producers, Induce, released a solo effort (cycle, which is awesome). Anyways, here's some great examples of tehir work for those unfamiliar with them:

Fuck it I'm gonna mention names 'cause I don't give a fook lol. Cylob for one that guy is a right grumpy cunt. I chatted to him a few times here and there and he's just miserable and stand offish. Guy needs to get a life big time. No wonder his career has gone down the pan lol. Aphex is dull as fuck and frightened of god knows what? Oh boo hoo people wanna get to know you 'cause they like your music .. oh get over yourself lol. Oh yeah and he looks miserable as sin in any interviews he's done and talks in this dull as fuck monotone voice. Seems like he's now cookooned himself in Cornwall or wherever the fuck it is. Squarepusher is a pretty nice guy I would sa…
