Baptism of Uzi "Stray Currents" 10"

:emotawesomepm9:

They're so damn amazing. I did a super pumped up dance remix of one of their unreleased pop songs; hopefully it surfaces sometime soon.

Heh, yeah…was you and yer good lady I saw 'em with in Melbourne, back in Sept 2010, when my Sis lived there…was good to meet the WATMMS…still play the CDs you gave me that night. :music:

Was quite surprised to see the Uzi 10" in Perth, back in January…bought it without even listening…is pretty nice…not as loud as that gig though!

Look forward to hearing yer mix Sir!

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just found Analogue Bubblebath 3 on wax in my record store. I just wanted to share the good news with people who appreciate it :flower: (yeah, because my friends/family just look at this gem like : "you spent almost 30€ on that awful record ?")

They also had the Smojphace EP for like 5€ but it look too heavily damaged...Too bad !

Was totally overexcited when I bought it - the shop owner told me last week he would have "old school" Squarepusher releases in store soonish, when I went there two days ago he was just cleaning the records up and about to put them on the shelves. Managed to snatch the Venus no.17 immediately, did not have moneyz for the other vinyls he had (Selection Sixteen, Budakhan Mindphone, Ultravisitor, Go Plastic...). Hopefully he won't sell them very fast and I'll be able to grab one more !

Picked a SAW 85-92 repress copy in my record store the other day. Totally rediscovering that classic, feels like it suddenly makes more sense (probably more because of me having extended my tastes in music than because of the vinyl format).

Xtal and Tha sound soooo much better on vinyl tho. Tha especially has a lot more depht now.

I just got a copy of the first Dragon Warrior soundtrack, it's pretty neat. Side A is all classical and Side B is a chip tune medley.

Someone put pretty much the whole ZHARK 12" catalogue into a local shop, so 5 records for 99p what could go wrong.

some are shit but most of them i actually like.

lovely abrasive noisey sounds for not much money.

Gonna have to see what else they have in the back as obviously from the same person, i know vatican shadow, raime and samuel kerridge are all there aswell. bought the kerridge (fallen empire) one cos it's banging

"I have vinyls in my room but it's more for decor. I don't actually play them ... It gives me the old-school vibe. That's what vinyl's all about."

I discovered my mate was doing this recently, what the FUCK is this all about?

What next, collecting VHS tapes with no VCR? You know for the old school vibe?
