I think Warp was hoping to follow up Windowlicker quickly with an album, but Richie took longer than they expected and it turned into Drukqs. I don't think it was a conceptual thing. There are bound to be lots of tracks made in 98-99 that we havent heard though.

There's a comment on the organ track asking if it's from the "hypothetical Windowlicker LP."

Was there going to be a such a thing?

there was a live windowlickerlike track right? anyone has youtube link?

So is there a big organized zip folder that's been tagged in order of upload? (i don't really give a toss about artist name etc, just for some reason order of upload matters to me).

The file names are just the titles, but the track number tag corresponds to the upload order.

I guess it's really over then now, huh. Unless he's just trying to digitize more tapes and stuff from later eras, and they'll probably be up next week. R-Right guys? :catcry:

I presume you think this is bad? Maybe it's a good thing! What we want and what we need are usually 2 quite different things

@arthurjohnsonmusic: we are always changing, if i go back to something literally 5-10 minutes later I will do it very differently and i did this about 20 years ago! so.. , yeah I hardly even recognise…

jsmcpn cheers, don't really care much about that stuff as I said. Just like things to be vaguely chronological - I would have done it myself, but with work and a newborn...time is a precious commodity.

Nice to be able to hear the second half of the uploads - previously I had only heard the first 59. So I'm in for a treat!!

Standouts in that first 59 for me include (tough to choose though!):

Quad Rave TEAC

Plinkyplonk

10 Bcr78

17 Kids Beach

19 Ssnb

11 Donkey Rhubarb Remix

7 ∂⨍Δ

3 gerald Remix

13 High Hats Tune Tamclap Orig

Things change but time as in ‘before’ or ‘after’ are just words, human constructs. There is only now , there is only now ,whoops it’s gone. ok I’m drunk and talking to people i don’t know, is that good ,i ve no idea, hi!

yes it is glitched at 3:55, but thank you

Cool, i'll go at 3:55 directly to listen it! lol :spiteful:

i just re listened, yes, it is glitched at 3:55 (perhaps why RDJ deleted it and re-upped?)

also couldn't post to mediafire because the track kept being tagged by a bot as "copywrited"

so we either have the glitched orig version with full "fade out"

or the "dixon's theft mix" without a glitch but the end is clipped...

also perhaps he "renamed it" because some label has rights to the version he first upped?

so he "remixed it" to dodge it?

back to obsessive re-listening to the "new" stuff and an occasional f5 on SC just in case...

cheers y'all sorry the track I DLd that was on SC wasn't perfect...

Sorry, I should have separated the tracknames/up-order into a separate pastebin from the comments/tags paste :catrage: j/k
