Autechre Live at Mixing for Radio Nova on 2003-06-28 : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive curious as to the source on the 'ambient' track played about 21:45 - ~26:00. track ID anyone? the stuff immediately after is interesting as well. the weirdo 'mega mix' thing ~8:00 - 15:00 is cool enough too.... i think there were bits like that elsewhere in some of their huge 12 hour streams maybe? been a while since i listened to any of those tho also, in searching for a thread on this, i saw some mentions of another Radio Nova mix in 2009 but i can't seem to find anything regarding info on it but dead links. i think someone said it was 'the same …

I know its not out yet but I thought that it deserved its own thread. What is everyone thinking? Personally I'm expecting a nice long Perlence jam that includes all of the elements we've heard so far, but tons of completely new stuff a la Plclcpc

i just listened to this in full, what in the actual fuck is this? This is like the background noise of thoughts. It is just the most abstract shyt I've ever heard. 16 minutes in and its basically one guy with a digital digeridoo and another guy with a box drum. what the fuck. actual digital jam band. literally the grateful dead but rave. what the fuck

Just took it upon myself to start another L-Event track thread. I find this to be the best track on the EP, and you might either agree or disagree. Discuss details, criticisms, etc.

Made one a little while ago using the first track from each LP up to Quaristice. Mainly just to amuse myself. Kalpol Introl Foil Dael Cipater Acroyear2 VI Scose Poise Xylin Room LCC Altibzz Works quite well. Just needed to trim the couple of seconds of intro stuff off the tracks from Cipater to LCC. Still not sure about having R ess on the end as you can't really trim that intro, though works as a 'secret track' Also don't know whether to count EP7 and have Rpeg between Acro and Poise. So, you can have one track from each album, what would your playlist be?

Was listening to this at work today and thought "Fuck me this is brilliant", there isn't a weak track on this release. Pencha is amazing especially. Also, the case says 'Mechanically Reclaimed by Autechre', I'm curious, does this mean the tracks are remixes of earlier stuff? Specifically Tilapia which has that Cichli sounding synth. Also, talk about how wicked this EP is.

Many people say, newbound is the weakest track for them on L-event; I say: Hmmm. Maybe. I think it's a typical outro track. The descending synth melody with looooong reverb being somewhat typical for an Ae outro. That kind of "laser beats" (someone else wrote this) is at least interesting. I need further listens.

Hey all - just came across this writeup on Bobby Bird aka Higher Intelligence Agency last week and noticed there was a link in the article to a huge Mixcloud archive of MANY sets from some legendary heads, including Autechre. The first set of theirs I was familiar with (as I'm sure many of you are), as I've had a boot of it for years. The second set of theirs is completely new to my ears and...quite good ? https://www.oscillate.club/1993-1996/

Triggered (not like that) by the recent AMA where Sean talked about making Parhelic Triangle with elastic bands and a shoebox (! - but also - of course) I found this video on YouTube. Hadn't seen it mentioned before so I thought I'd bring it to attention (did a cursory search and nothing popped up immediately on here). It's a pretty great visualisation IMO, I watched it just before sleep in the dark and it did a nice number on me 'ed.

Seriously... does anyone know who made this? afaik its a fan made thing? One of my favorite music videos of all time and I cant believe someone just whipped this up out of nowhere... Some of my favorite bits is that tunnel like thing in the middle that keeps rotating with the beats, and at 2:16 when the thick lines start to distort with the swirling noise, and then the thin white lines appear in the background in sync with the drums. Pretty mad how someone captured the essence of an Ae track like this

Kind of obnoxious to start a thread with this question, but I've attempted searching the forums, and I remember this having been talked about a while back (probably a couple of years ago). I thought it was Helena Hauff, but perhaps not. Anyone recall?

https://touched.bandcamp.com/track/twels I think this is the (possible) Autechre track on the new Touched comp. What do you think? Some people think it's track 3. Do you agree and why?
