Pre-orders of the new album from Christoph de Babalon are available now from Love Love Records: http://tinyurl.com/q6nrhrb! Listen to album opener ‘Barely You’ for a taste: Release date: November, Friday 13th With a career spanning over two decades, Christoph De Babalon has consistently created music that stands apart from contemporaneous trends. Early 12”s such as ‘Destroy Berlin!’ on Alec Empire’s Digital Hardcore Recordings (DHR) and ‘We Declare War’ on his own Cross Fader Enter Tainment (CFET) outlet first presented his cathartic brand of noise-orientated drum & bass and his isolationist tendencies, with extensive support from the late John Peel and Tho…

Their last release left me unimpressed, but usually they pump out good Aussie psych jams. http://www.kinggizzardandthelizardwizard.com/

The blerp description of this release piqued my attention: A bonkers little release from Minneapolis-based, Anticon-associated producer/multi-instrumentalist Ghostband. Acid Deco follows in the traditions of Luke Vibert and AFX, chopping up jungle breaks, taking Detroit techno tropes and turning them on their head, and dropping in mutant acid basslines while wearing a grin on his face. It’s great stuff, recalling IDM at its most skittish. Anyone checked this out? I am quite enjoying it. There's even a cassette for all you tape heads out there. Here are a couple linky-dinks for ya: Bandcamp https://ghostband.bandcamp.com/album/acid-deco Blerp link https:/…

Eschaton's previous "Drum and Space" releases are always great to turn to whenever I am in the mood for some atmospheric drum and bass. I have stumbled across this one recently and I have been enjoying it quite a bit. It is a bit more varied/experimental, so I thought I would share. [bandcamp]981294255 [/bandcamp] Link to Bandcamp

"New Order will return this autumn with their first album in over a decade, Music Complete. Largely produced by the band themselves, with a couple of tracks of helmed by The Chemical Brothers Tom Rowlands, Music Complete features vocals from Brandon Flowers, Iggy Ppop and La Roux. The first track to be unveiled from the album, however, is a straight-up New Order offering titled Restless, which finds the group contemplating life in the modern world. The single will be available on vinyl, CD and digitally on October 9, while Music Complete is out on September 25 on CD, download and limited edition clear vinyl. There will also be an eight-piece deluxe vinyl collectio…

There's gotta be a few other Chelsea Wolfe fans on this site... Her new album Abyss is officially out Aug 7th. Album has leaked though, been giving it a lot of play this week. It's a bit heavier than her previous works, couple tracks are straight up doomy. I dig it.
